Juliabuda rorbuer - Small apartment

Juliabuda is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s and we can offer an evocative stay in this authentic sea scene where there has been both herring salting, post office and shop. Sjøbuda has a jetty with the opportunity to go boating or enjoy the view of the fjord and the islands in the strait. The area has many beautiful excursion spots, both by the fjord and in the mountains at 600-700 metres above sea level, with both easy and more difficult terrain. This is the advertisement for the smaller of two apartments in Juliabuda.

Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Beautiful cabin with fantastic views of Larsnes, the boathouse and the shoreline. An excellent holiday home by the sea on 2 floors, with living room, kitchen and bathroom on the 1st floor and bedroom on the 2nd floor. Good, large terraces in the outdoor area with great sunshine. A short distance to the centre of Larsnes. Many hikes in the surrounding area, and a short drive to Ulsteinvik, Herøy and Ørsta/Volda. Kayak, SUP board and bicycle are included in the price. Fugleøya Runde - cozy older farmhouse

The house is located at the far end of Goksøyra with easy access to mountains and the coast. Only a 30-minute walk to Fuglefjellet. The interior has recently been carefully renovated. The bathroom is brand new and is on the ground floor. It is listed with 6 sleeping places, but may be best suited for 4 people (2 double rooms). The third bedroom has 2 single beds. The stairs up to the bedrooms are steep. Sheltered outdoor area and private garden. It takes 25 minutes to drive to the municipal centre of Fosnavåg.

Surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, between Ørsta and Ålesund lies this unique waterfront house. A perfect starting point for mountain hiking and other attractions in Sunnmøre. Within an hour or two you can reach famous places such as Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Loen and the amazing bird island Runde. The Atlantic Park in Ålesund is also worth a visit. In Ørsta, 20 min. away, there are plenty of shops and restaurants.

Edel House on Runde - by the path to Lundeura

Edel House is the oldest house in Goksøyr, and situated on the path to the mountain and birdrocks. It is built in 1816, so we can describe the house as a grand old lady, who like all elderly personages, has her quirks and personality, and we hope that you our guests will look upon these with mild friendly eyes and a holiday spirit.

My boathouse is as close as you can get to the waterfront. It is built in a navy style with lots of antique items from a former career at sea. I believe it has what is needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday on a quiet Island on the norwegian westcoast.
