Holiday rentals in Sandvík

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Location was great and very walkable into town. Grocery shopping very nearby. We arrived over the Easter weekend on Good Friday and all of the grocery stores were closed. Our hosts were very nice and sent their son over with food for us… Eggs, meat, wine, butter, bread, milk, and other things! It was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. Their son even bought us some homemade lamb jerky as well! Can’t say enough about their hospitality and willingness to make our stay comfortable during the holiday weekend!

En helt igennem skøn lejlighed i rolige omgivelser med flot møblering og udsøgt udsigt. Vi boede der med vores 3 voksne børn og alt fungerede perfekt og med hurtig respons da vi havde et spørgsmål. Vi havde lejet bil og det var en god beliggenhed at køre ud fra. Kan virkelig anbefales.

Extremely comfortable and well equipped home. Well located in Sandur, about 35 mins from Torshavn. House is in walking distance to some excellent hikes along local dramatic cliffs. Great smart tv, modern and stylish furnishings. Jens is an excellent and communicative host. Much recommended.

Great location to start your day in Torshavn. We were challenged to find the unit as the ad did not show the door, just the buildings around the neighborhood. Once inside everything was great. Be aware the locked door relies on your phone using an app. Not our favorite as you lose your phone or it runs out of battery, you would be stuck. Also meant one person always had to be the one to unlock.

I stayed at this yellow house for 3 days while visiting Faroe Islands, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is cozy and well-decorated. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket and gas station nearby, and it's also close to several attractions on the islands. The view from the window is absolutely breathtaking, But the best part was that Tom and Leivur are incredibly friendly and there was a guidebook provided, really wanna stay here again when I visit the Faroe Islands next time!! 真心非常推荐，谢谢！

Det var en virkelig fin lejlighed, som passede godt til vores familie. Der var tænkt på alle de små fornødenheder, man har brug for, når man bor i en lejlighed i kort tid, og Bara svarede meget hurtigt på alle spørgsmål. Beliggenheden er perfekt, hvis man vil bo tæt på centrum.

Vi havde nogle dejlige dage i Annas bolig. Gik ture i bygden og op på fjeldet (Skálahøvdi), besøgte café´en, og kørte tur til nærliggende bygder. Boligen var rigtig hyggelig og velindrettet, vi var især glade for de dybe vindueskarme, hvor man kunne sidde og nyde udsigten og lyset. Der manglede ingenting i hverken køkken eller badeværelse, og sengene var rigtig behagelige med gode dundyner. Vi kommer meget gerne igen en anden gang.
