The upper level of the loft has a spacious balcony with oversized hammock & Acapulco chairs, living room, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen. On the lower level of the loft, you’ll find two bedrooms that are separated by a family room. The front bedroom has two twin beds (that can be combined to make a king-size bed) and ceiling to floor windows. The rear bedroom has a queen-size bed. The lower level of the loft also has a roomy bathroom, complete with rain head shower and plenty of hot water. The nearby villages of Panajachel and Santa Catarina Palopo can be reached on foot in about 15 to 20 minutes, or by tuk-tuk (three-wheeled moto taxi) in about five minutes. Perfect for a single person or a couple. Min. 2 days Santa Cruz is only accessible by boat and is known for its beauty and tranquility. There are some good local restaurants along the lake shore plus kayak rentals and great swimming at the foot our our hill. Hiking is also wonderful in our area.

Villa Eggedal is situated on the North shore of Lake Atitlan in the peaceful village of Santa Cruz. Ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens with pool overlook the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The gardens make this a bird-watcher's paradise. There are 7 properties on this amble estate. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.
