Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Santa Cruz Island

I would highly recommend this airbnb for so many reasons. First - Johanna and Eduardo truly made me feel like family. They booked tours, taxi's, gave recommendations of where to go and which tours to take. I also got sick from eating something while there and they checked in on me so much! Second - the unit is immaculate, clean, and spacious. It comes with a well stocked kitchen too. They have a laundry machine right outside the unit and a shoe cleaning area (which is a blessing after all the day trips). Third - Starlink internet! The location of the unit is great - 1 block away from one of the main streets and just a little over a 5 minute walk to the more touristy areas. The unit is brand new and attached to their home (but is it's own separate unit with it's own entrance). The air conditioning is strong and the water in the bathroom is HOT (tip - turn it down to almost off once it comes in). Stay here if you want a great place and want to support a local family!

This is a cute apartment away from the main city. If you want a place thats quiet and calm, I recommend staying here. There is a bit of walk to the boardwalk and you need to walk a bit to call a taxi, but that is listed in the description. My family and I enjoyed our time there and we hope to return again! Thank you again to both hosts!!

Conny’s apartment worked very well for us. We love the fact that it had a washer and dryer, filtered water and a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning in the bedroom was very important since we were here in March, during a very warm and humid spell. There was often very little airflow and per our request they promptly provided a fan for the apartment which was a great help. Conny was very accommodating. And she went out of her way to be helpful with suggestions and responsive to our requests. It is slightly less than a 10 minute walk to the dock and main areas of town.

Great location. Quiet. I’m a family apartment complex, so being quiet was great. Lovely street. Close to town. Clean rooms and bathroom. Would come back for sure! William helped with arranging taxis and made checking in easy.

Gecko was a great place to stay, the hosts were lovely and very responsive to questions/queries. The apartment was cleaned almost every day and we had a supply of bottled water for our 2 week stay and just had to ask if we needed more and it was swiftly delivered. The walk into town is about 15 minutes which we enjoyed each time. We cooked in the apartment a few times, having an extra pan would have been useful but it was manageable. Lovely quiet outdoor space or table and chairs and hammocks. We arranged our airport transfers through Gecko and all went smoothly.

Location location location! Walkable to all stores, restaurants and the port. Casa Tortuga was better than the pictured as the entrance had a beautiful little garden with flowers and fruit. Tortuga bay is a 30 mts walk from the property but very easy to follow. All Utilities available in the kitchen and great selection of books. My daughter managed to find and finish Congo! The restaurant recommendations in the book was very helpful. It would help if the distance to each restaurant was listed as we were new to the neighborhood. Another recommendation is folks can have an English speaking driver as it would have been good to communicate on the way.. Sandro y Rocio son muy cordiales y están siempre muy pendientes de sus huéspedes. Te orientan y te ayudan respecto a lugares para conocer, actividades, precios y como movilizarte. Tuvimos complicaciones con el vuelo de regreso a Quito, Rocio amablemente nos ayudo a resolverlo. Totalmente recomendado Casa Casacada.

The stay was great and chilled. Not a lot of interactions or communication with the host but he was responsive when needed. It would be good to consider having a weekly tidy up and cleaning of the room for long staying guests.

Very nice house. A bite “humidity” outside due to vegetation and location, but with dryer machine which helps to dry clothes from beach. Careful with the mosquitoes, but of course it depends on the season. Very nice place to stay in Santa Cruz. We will remember that place.

Mi estancia con David fue muy agradable, siempre estuvo dispuesto a ayudarnos y fue muy amable. El lugar tenia todo lo que necesitamos y está un poco lejos del centro pero fácilmente se llega con un bus o compartiendo taxi. El lugar es muy seguro y muy buen lugar en relacion precio y calidad

This is a great find! although there were renovations, the host was very accommodating to work around it. Veronica and Javier absolutely made this AirBnB one of the best I've ever stayed in! William was a recommended driver direct from the host and he was also worth his weight in gold! Bikes were provided along with helmets and the Port is within 10 minutes walking. I loved everything about our stay and we will definitely return!

Staying at this apartment in Puerto Ayora was such a special experience. The space was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a short walk to everything, but still quiet and peaceful. And the breakfast... honestly, it was unbelievable. Fresh, delicious, and made with so much care—it was one of the highlights of our mornings. But what truly made this place unforgettable were Verónica and Javier. They treated us like family from the moment we arrived. Always available, always kind, and incredibly helpful with organizing tours and making sure we had the best possible experience. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference. We left feeling grateful—and already dreaming of coming back.

Enrique Veronica and Javier were excellent host during our stay for the week. Not only did we have breakfast every morning exactly when we asked there was a variety of different items that were served. Additionally, Veronica helped out immensely with tours and even getting our laundry done. We would highly recommend this location and in future trips we will stay again.
