“What a great place to stay! Everything worked out better than I could have hoped. Awesome location, very comfortable, close to everything, organized and stocked with just the right amount of things you will need in the kitchen. Juan the on-site caretaker is there for anything you may need. Awesome Guy! Use Terry and JP at Cayo Inland adventure for all your airport transfers and excursions! They are related to the owner and they were amazing. Chas Iverson”

“This place is truly a hidden gem! We have stayed in lots of Airbnbs around the world and finding unique places like this with amazing hosts is what makes using AirBnb the best way to experience a new place! Pete met us in person and was incredibly friendly and helpful. The little cottage was everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. Some of the best sleep we had all year. You get to wake up to the birds singing outside your window. The place has great hiking all around the property and is just a short drive away from San Ignacio. If you have the opportunity to stay here, book fast!!”

“We loved our stay at Maria and Arturo's place! Before we even arrived, they were very communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the place and let them know when we arrived. The house is located a short walk from everything you need in San Ignacio, but is far enough away that you don't get the noise of the downtown area. It's also close to the market and bus stops. The room is large, with plenty of space even with the extremely comfortable king size bed. There's also a hammock in the room (and two shaded hammocks on the roof, for relaxing!). The room has a private bathroom and a shower with hot water. There is no air conditioning, but we were perfectly comfortable with the fan provided. Arturo and Maria keep a jug of free purified water in the kitchen to refill water bottles from, which we really appreciated! The best part of our stay was Arturo and Maria. From the moment we met them, they were so sweet and welcoming. They made sure we were settled in and helped us with anything we needed: local tips, taxis, buses, laundry, restaurants--you name it! They were absolutely fantastic hosts! Someone was always around when we had a question, but we felt like we had plenty of space and privacy as well. Also, the breakfasts Arturo cooked were TOP NOTCH! He made us enormous plates of fruit, eggs, ham, bacon, beans, and fry jacks (the best we had in Belize!). Plus fresh fruit juice and as much coffee as we wanted. He prepared breakfast for any time we wanted it, even early in the morning before our trip to the ATM cave. We absolutely loved our time staying with Arturo and Maria, and will certainly stay with them again if we find ourselves back in San Ignacio!”
