On the old original N2, this cosy house in the village of São Domingos is 3 miles (5km) from Penedo Furado, 5 miles (8km) from the beautiful village of Sardoal and 6 miles (10km) from the Zêzere reservoir. Here, travelers had long passed: the Bernardinos were the Blacksmiths of the land, preparing the animals for the rest of the journey, whether along the old N2, or to the lands of Zêzere. From this house where you will feel the peace of the countryside and the history of the people, you will easily reach the fantastic places of interest around.

Glamping on Off-grid farm in spacious bell tent

We rent out our very spacious bell tent (30m2) on our off-grid farm. Next to Sardoal. Close to Tomar. Outdoor living in luxury and comfort: Glamping. Nice place to relax on a beautiful piece of nature. There is wifi and electricity in the belltent, kitchen. There is an outdoor kitchen with running water, koffiemaker, kettle, and fridge. There are multiple spots to relaxe, work and dine. There is an outdoor dry toilet. The outdoor shower has nice hot water. We're kids and pet friendly :)

Casa 56 - Villa with Swimming Pool

Casa 56 is a retreat in the small village of Andreus. It has a saltwater pool and a front garden. In the village of Sardoal, the churches and the historic centre invite you to visit. About 15 minutes away, you will find river beaches, the Castelo de Bode dam and the geodesic centre of Portugal. We have hiking trails on our doorstep and endless nature to discover. Adega do Americano

A traditionally appointed countryside home, boasting typical decor elements/furniture. The room sizes are generous and complemented by the front of house patio - part of the grounds of the property. Located in quiet Sardoal, this will be your perfect holiday hub to explore some of the most popular central Portugal attractions (Fatima, Batalha) and wine regions (Ribatejo). For water sports and sunbathing, you'll be spoilt for choice - with Barragem Castelo de Bode (lake) 15m drive away.

T2 Superior Joaquim da Mota Street

Bring the whole family to this great place with plenty of room to have fun. Located in the picturesque village of Matagosa, next to the Zêzere River. Vila T2 Joaquim da Mota is composed of two floors. On the first floor, we find a double bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds as well as a full bathroom with a bathtub. The downstairs consists of a kitchen with access to a private terrace, a social bathroom, a pantry and a living room also with access to the private terrace.

Riu's House

Riu's house, once a tavern, is located on the original N2 route and is over 70 years old. It is composed of two floors connected by a narrow staircase. Downstairs we find two bedrooms, the bathroom, the living room and the kitchen. On the first floor, two double bedrooms and a hall with direct access to the outside! It has a terrace where you can enjoy outdoor dining, a large garden area, and in the highest area of the property is the swimming pool and a leisure area with lawn.

Village house with pool

Traditional village cottage, perfect for a peaceful holiday with family or friends. Exclusive use of the swimming pool, large kitchen and lawn area (although the owners may occasionally stay overnight in the other house on the property). Pets are welcome and may move around the rest of the property (although this is not part of the rental). The whole property is sealed. Located in a friendly village, great for walking. The area offers plenty to see, including riverside beaches.

Country house with pool

If you are looking for a country space to spend a serene time by the pool, with a privileged view of a sunset as far as the eye can see, this is the ideal house. Take the opportunity to catch up with friends and family around the table in the outdoor space or spend an evening playing board games. If you want, you can also enjoy the wood-fired oven outside. In winter, enjoy the fireplace or heating of this country house, remodeled from a rustic 1950s house.
