Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Sassi di Matera

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The house was spacious, well-maintained, and felt just like home. One of the highlights was the large patio, perfect for relaxing and spending time together The house was well equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to settle in right away. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly. Communication with our host was smooth and easy; he was very responsive and provided helpful local recommendations. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable getaway!

One of our favorite stays in Italy so far. Matera is such a magical place and this home made it even more magical. Very friendly hostess, and the breakfast each morning plus snacks left for us was such a nice touch as well. The view from both balconies is just incredible. Can’t recommend enough ♥️

Ich war nach vier Jahren zum zweiten Male in Stefania's Wohnung. Es ist ein perfektes Nest mitten in der sensationellen Altstadt, den Sassi von Matera. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit einer geradezu märchenhaften Aussicht auf den alten Stadtteil und die Schlucht am Stadtrand. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die grosse Terrasse. Hier lässt es sich unter dem Sonnenschirm wunderbar lesen, faulenzen oder einen Apero trinken (ausser in der Mittagszeit. Dann ist es sogar unter dem Schirm zu heiss). Die Wohnung ist zweckmässig eingerichtet. Wer keinen grossen Luxus braucht, fühlt sich bei Stefania sicher wohl.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Matera presso l'appartamento di Giovanni per 3 giorni, oltre la Città meravigliosa ci siamo trovati benissimo anche von l'Host, gentilissimo e disponibile, ci ha dato indicazioni chiare e ci ha fornito consigli su dove mangiare. L'appartamento è esattamente come descritto in foto, è piccolino ma ha tutto ciò che serve ed è in una posizione centralissima, a pochi minuti a piedi da tutti i luoghi di interesse e con una vista che lascia a bocca aperta.

If we could leave a 10* review - we would! Do not hesitate to book Francesco’s place! He was so accommodating as we were not sure of our arrival time (we came in by bus from Salerno). He waited to greet us to explain everything! He had the lights on and candles lit so when we walked in- WOW! Soooo MAGICAL! The location is just perfect and for our two dinner meals - we ate at restaurants within steps from “our Sassi” (he recommended!!) -We would have loved to stay longer, however, our travel schedule wouldn’t allow it) You must take advantage of the Relaxation Room… it was heavenly taking a bath at night with the candles lit. Book before you miss out!!

Leonardantonio was a great host. His response about my questions was perfect and timely. He had shared history and lots of information about Matera. He had shared several restaurants as well, so we could make a reservation in advance. This house has its own parking space, so it was very safe to park the car. Leonardantonio came to me when I checked out and shared with me the good breakfast cafe to stop by. He made my stay memorable at Matera.

We were two couples and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in the modern part of Matera but only a very short walk to elegant shops and restaurants, and to the amazing historical center you'll be exploring. The apartment is modern, spacious, nicely furnished, with a very nicely stocked kitchen. The patio is very large, secluded, and comfortable. We loved everything about the place and would definitely stay here again. I'd note that there is one bathroom adjacent to both bedrooms, but the second bathroom is at the other end of the apartment. The host offers secure garage parking for a modest fee. I recommend you take advantage of this but be sure to drop your bags off at the apartment before you park your car.

Esistono persone e Persone. Anita, la nostra host, appartiene di diritto alla seconda categoria: da subito cordiale, accogliente e professionale, con lei tutto risulta facile. La casa è perfetta per i gruppi, comoda, pulita e rilassante. Anita ci mette quel "plus" che davvero fa' la differenza fra un alloggio e "casa tua": impossibile rimanere indifferenti a tutto questo, gentilezza prima di ogni altra cosa. 😊

Posizione stupenda per vivere interamente l'atmosfera di Matera. Alloggio " grotta" perfetto per sperimentare un modo di vivere antico con tutti gli agi di una ristrutturazione conservativa. Host gentile e disponibile che sa fornire le giuste indicazioni davvero utile. consigliamo vivamente

Alles war wie angegeben. Wirklich perfekte Lage, in wenigen Minuten in der Altstadt bzw Sassi! Würde wieder buchen und kann es ehrlich weiter empfehlen!

My husband and I have stayed at many Airbnb’s, but this one was so special. Pasquale is an amazing host. He offered to pick us up from the bus, he spent time with us going over all the attractions in the area, AND he provided fantastic food for us to enjoy. The location is perfect, just a two minute walk to Sassi Caveoso. So many wonderful sites to see & explore. Pasquale has done a fantastic job! Definitely pick this place to stay when visiting Matera! We will recommend it to anyone who will be going to Matera!

la nostra esperienza in questo appartamento è stata ottima. Immerso nel verde, tranquillo ma vicinissimo ai sassi. La casa è graziosissima e dotata di tutti i comfort, anche i dettagli a cui altri host non prestano attenzione (molti posti per poggiare le cose, attaccapanni, attrezzature complete sia per cucina che per il bagno ecc...). Nonostante non fosse previsto, all'arrivo c'erano anche delle cose per fare colazione. E ci hanno anche dato uova fresche appena "sfornate" dalle loro galline. A 5 minuti in macchina dai sassi dove abbiamo facilmente parcheggiato seguendo i consigli di Angelo. Soddisfattissimi! grazie

Great place close to tourist spots and no need to use a car. Accommodating host and very responsive to our questions. Nice welcome on arrival. Very well appointed with quality fittings and furnishings. Beds were comfortable and great cooking facilities. You are a super host Nino.

En la ciudad había un problema de tuberías y no había agua. Nos hizo el gesto de pagar la mitad, por no poder usar el agua este día. Se agradece mucho! Ejemplar en la comunidad de Airbnb. Mil gracias!

Abbiamo soggiornato a Matera dal 1° al 4 maggio e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La casa è molto confortevole, pulitissima e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Si nota cura e attenzione in ogni dettaglio. Un ringraziamento speciale ad Angelo, proprietario gentile e disponibile, che ha reso tutto ancora più semplice e accogliente. Consigliatissimo, torneremmo volentieri!

La casa è proprio carina e dotata di TUTTI i confort. Nonostante il caldo per la sua esposizione rimane fresca per cui abbiamo acceso il condizionatore poco. Il complesso residenziale ha una bellissima piscina (un po' cara ) ed è ubicato in una posizione un po' isolata ma comunque comoda; in 8/10 minuti di macchina si arriva alle spiagge di Castellaneta Marina e in 15 minuti a Ginosa Marina. Alfredo è stato super disponibile. Ci è dispiaciuto andare via.

Buongiorno Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento di recente. Casa pulitissima, proprietari disponibili e gentili mi hanno fatto sentire a casa, persino nel villaggio e le persone all'ingresso nella guardiola disponibile e cordiali. La sera a bordo piscina organizzavano sempre qualcosa. Direi che se non fosse che mi si è rotta la macchina e quest'anno il servizio navetta non partiva dal villaggio, sarebbero state perfette.
