La ubicación de la cabañita es perfecta, aparte que está súper equipada con todo!!! Hasta freidora de aire, es pequeña pero perfecta, y si le ponemos el millón de estrellas que se ven gracias a la poca contaminación de luz que hay, y escuchar el viento en los árboles, no tiene precio, la recomiendo mil veces!!

El lugar muy bonito, lo único es que en el cuarto principal la luz pega full a las 6 am, por lo demás,una cabaña muy linda

Todo estaba super bien, muy bonito, la casa preciosa, muy limpia y ordenada, realmente cómodo. Por lo demás una experiencia formidable.

Fuimos en familia y nos acomodamos muy bien las 5 personas y una gata ☺️, el ambiente es muy tranquilo. La chimenea es acogedora y fácil de utilizar. Fuimos en carro a varios restaurantes cercanos, como en Santa María de Dota y disfrutamos el trayecto también. Excelente lugar para descansar, con una vista linda desde el balcón y el aire muy puro !

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

Excelente alojamiento en zona local, el mejor en que hemos estado durante nuestro viaje a CR. Como arquitectos hemos valorado mucho los detalles presentes en toda la estancia y sin duda repetiríamos. Muy recomendable

Lindo lugar, la cabaña muy ordenada y limpia, para disfrutar las vistas, el anfitrión nos dió la información completa y pudimos relajarnos gracias a la quietud de la noche, muy recomendada

This place is fantastic. Big and spacious. Peaceful and quiet. We had hoped for lots of birds and more wildlife, but that was practically nonexistent. The place is fairly close to Santa Maria, which offers everything you would need for supplies and some great restaurants. If you are a larger group, this is the perfect place. Especially if you have kids. The soccer field was awesome. We would stay here again, and Gustavo and his group of helpers were very responsive and on top of everything! Thanks for helping make our stay wonderful.

Pasamos un fin de semana en familia y todo estuvo perfecto! Sidney siempre estuvo atento a cualquier necesidad, sin embargo el lugar está tan completo, de fácil acceso a la propiedad, es fácil ingresar a la cabaña, sus instrucciones e indicaciones están tan claras que no es necesario “molestar” a Sidney! Es una cabaña encantadora, en cuanto llegas percibes el amor que se puso en cada detalle, rodeada de naturaleza y con una vista hermosa, durante tu estadía respiras paz y calma! Sin duda volveríamos una y mil veces! Creamos valiosos recuerdos en este espacio precioso!

I only have one word for this place: BEAUTIFUL! The Location is a perfect place to get lost a couple days. you can walk around the place or take a tour with the local operator. The neighbors are so lovely (they call the door to give us some Easter snacks and homemade ice cream), so the place is extremely peaceful and you may see Crestones from there! About the cabin... no words, the pictures don't give enought credit to the place, it has plenty of room for an entire family. internet works perfect what make it great for nomads. Be prepared for nights under 10⁰C and fresh days, bring enough food & drinks because there's no shops nearby. Attention: you'll be in a rural township, so don't blame the place for the bugs and the noisy singing birds... you're invading them! The fridge is too tiny, definitely it's something to improve, we personally would love some ambient lamps on the living and rooms, and night tables at the bed's sides. ELSE... DON'T DOUBT TO GO THERE!

Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

About the most peaceful place I can imagine up in the Mountains. Easy access that did not require 4x4 only 2km from the highway. Incredible vistas from the front porch. The fully stocked fireplace was a real treat after sunset! Juan was an exceptional host who even went above and beyond to find us some transmission fluid for our car. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Increíble lugar, muy tranquilo y acogedor! Despertarse con la belleza del río y los árboles, el sonido del río y el que tenga varios espacios para sentarse en el exterior lo hacen único! El lugar es de fácil acceso, para cualquier vehículo y tiene todo lo necesario para pasarla bien, además Roger es muy atento, volveríamos sin pensarlo!

What a beautiful spot! We will definitely be back. The photos don’t do the garden justice! We spent so much time sitting by the peaceful creek that runs through the property, saw tons of birds, enjoyed the flowers and blackberry bushes, and stargazed at night. The property is situated among strawberry and blackberry farms, which adds to the beauty and charm. The cabin was cozy and had plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and it was well equipped. Thanks for a beautiful stay, we will be back!

We had such an incredible stay here. Walking through an incredible garden by Marino Ballena National Park in the morning felt like the biggest treat. Listening to monkeys and macaws from the terrace was a total immersion in nature. I needed to walk to see Uvita Oasis’s pool, laundry room, veranda, outside seating areas, etc. Our cabin in the Uvita Oasis was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. With excellent air conditioning and WiFi, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to be completely self-sufficient. Although there are various private parking areas in Uvita Oasis, the cabin had its own parking space well protected from the sun. Milena, our dedicated point of contact at Uvita Oasis, was exceptional. She swiftly arranged a day trip to Corcovado within a couple of hours and was always prompt in her responses, ensuring our needs were met. 100% recommend

Lugar súper bonito, una vista increíble e inclusive dejaba ropa para el frio disponible en caso que lo necesitamos.

Este lugar es precioso! la calle para llegar es totalmente accesible por cualquier tipo de vehículo (importante de saber en Costa Rica). Es muy pacífico y privado. Cada detalle en la cabaña fue puesto con cuidado. Está equipada con todo lo que ocupe para pasar uno o varios días. Hay lugares donde comer, incluyendo pesca de trucha donde se come muy fresco. El host fue super amable y comunicativo . Volveriamos sin pensarlo, amamos la zona!

Tuvimos una maravillosa experiencia. Amamos adentrarnos en la montaña, conocer caminos nuevos y menos transitados, y llegar a ese pequeño paraíso donde todo fue diseñado con mucho amor. El entorno con sus flores, que atraen muchas mariposas, la huerta, de la cual tomamos algunas hierbas aromáticas para hacer nuestra comida. Conectamos con el silencio, con el viento entre los árboles, con las estrellas, que extrañamos ver en la ciudad, y con los bichitos de luz que nos visitaron una noche. La cabaña es muy acogedora y está perfectamente equipada para que la estadía sea placentera: agua caliente, tres calentadores, buenas cobijas, una cocina con todo lo necesario, hermosas ventanas (disfrutamos muchísimo la vista de la habitación con la cama matrimonial). Que no hubiera tele, wifi o señal de teléfono fue una ganancia en la conexión entre nosotros: jugamos juegos de mesa, leímos, cocinamos juntos. Combinamos todo esto con caminatas por algunos de los tantos lugares que ofrece la zona.

Precioso lugar en el medio del tropico. Vimos todo tipo de flora y fauna, además del espectacular río y pozas. Sabina y su esposo son excelentes ayudantes y hasta guineos nos regalaron. Simplemente fabuloso!

We had a eight total, a real family reunion! The accomodations were super, the air conditioners were up to the job, and the double parking space easily accommodated the GMC Yukon that we rented to haul us all around. (The "joy" of driving, and parking, that monstrosity in Costa Rica tourist area traffic, however...) There's plenty of built-in cabinetry so we could unpack. The kitchens were well equipped, and we mainly used them for breakfast. The grandkids loved the pool, which is well maintained. Half a block away there's a small grocery and a super restaurant/bar with a great view! The food is great too! It was so nice to be able to get to The Happy Pig without dealing with the Yukon! The washing machines are super -- really up to date and high capacity! There's no dryer, which I suspect has more to do with the available electrical service than anything else. Air drying works well, but if it's raining you should just bring the drying rack into the bathroom. Great host and staff!

Casetta molto carina nel bosco. Tranquillità assoluta. Presenza anche di cucina e amache per rilassarsi. Super consigliata!!
