Aguincho is a small village with about 20 inhabitants located in the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Ideal for those seeking contact with nature and the countryside. Here you will find the Alvoco River, which, due to the configuration of the mountains (in the form of a valley), has clear waters and pleasant temperatures for swimming in the summer. In winter, you can enjoy its beauty and harmony. The village is about 30 minutes by car from Torre (the highest point of Serra da Estrela), 30 minutes from Seia and 40 minutes from Covilhã.

A former Adega grape press has been transformed into a beautiful family home with a private outdoor terrace, garden & BBQ within a stunning historic Quinta estate including swimming pool, gardens and cascading olive orchards. It's a 10min walk through the village to the river with beaches and a café whilst charming Coja town is a 5min drive and includes several restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bank. A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

Nestled in the heart of nature, but close to town, this one-bedroom apartment offers a rare opportunity (normally only available during retreats) to experience the deep serenity of the land, lovingly run by a Dutch and French couple. Wake up to breathtaking views of the Sierra da Estrela, and enjoy the rejuvenating spring water at every tap (incl shower). The pool is as natural as possible (little chemicals).

Salgueirinho's House

Casa do Salgueirinho is located in the parish of Vide. A rustic nook, which sought to maintain the original features of the dwelling, consistent with the shale villages, such as: stone walls, shale roof and some traditional objects used in decoration. It is one of the most typical schist villages of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. A unique place with traces of primitive vegetation. Casa do Salgueirinho is a privileged place with the sound and charm of Nature!

Come and enjoy our quinta in an oasis of peace. You stay in a fully furnished wooden chalet. Between Seia and Oliveira do Hospital, outside the village of Meruge. View of the highest peaks of Portugal (Serra da Estrela). The chalet is located on its own spacious plot, lined with grape vines. Sunny and shady spots. The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).
