There is ample (free!) parking. You rent the entire upper floor and part of the lower floor with your own kitchen, living room, bathrooms, toilets and a lovely garden. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Directly on the forest and many hiking trails in the area. Also a swimming pool around the corner. We have beautifully furnished our cottage with care and equipped it with every comfort. A kitchen with all appliances; dishwasher, combi oven and coffee machine. Outside, lovely furniture to fully enjoy nature, the garden is completely fenced with greenery, and you can hear the birds chirping all day long. There is good WiFi available, so also a great base for a workation (work vacation).

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.
