Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Schuylkill County

Beautiful house that was even nicer than the pictures! Super clean and you can tell Matt takes pride in keeping this home in great shape. Definitely something for everyone, as both the adults and teenagers had a fun and relaxing time. The game room was a great bonus for the kids and we all enjoyed the perfect outdoor setting and clean hot tub. We brought our ATV and had a blast on all the trails reachable from right in the back yard! Matt was very responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better rental experience. Highly recommended and we definitely plan to be back!

We love this property, I take my own children and all of our grandkids, they have room to run. The house is big so we are not on top of each other. I will go back year after year!

Michael’s place was exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway in nature! It was so peaceful and had everything we needed. The home was so charming and beautiful plus Michael was extremely responsive. The power went out from a storm in the middle of the night and Michael was very proactive in letting us know and working to get over to the house as soon as we were ready. We’re so glad we chose this place!

My family had a very comfortable stay at Jami’s place while we visited the area for our trip to Knoebels. The location was great and in close proximity to the park as well as some other local spots we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A fantastic home away from home while visiting friends and family in the area. Enjoyable evenings with our 2 young kids in the garden and the tree swing. We'll definitely be back soon.

We found this place after out-growing our usual cabin. There is SO MUCH room, both inside and out--and it's all beautiful, inside and out. The kids had fun playing on the huge yard, we had a great bonfire in the fire pit, and had plenty of space to use inside. Speaking of inside, it was all very clean and updated. All the hosts were very communicative and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic house with great hosts! The house was very easy to find with the host's instructions and is in a quiet wooded area. The house was clean and cozy-yet spacious. Tons of household supplies that made our stay even easier (baby gates, cleaning supplies, extra pillows/blankets.) They even got us some milk and iced tea, and brought us samples of local kielbasi. My family had a great vacation and we can't wait to come back again

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location couldn't be more convenient, just a stone's throw away from Kutztown University, which made our visit a breeze. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, providing all the amenities we could ask for. What truly made our stay memorable were the exceptional hosts, Diane and Hiester. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything needed for a perfect stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this delightful spot to anyone visiting the area.

Good place in the heart of downtown. The place is really big and would be perfect for 2 couples or two travelers. Will come back.

We enjoyed a weekend at Wish Upon a Star Lodge for my sister’s “Girls Gone Mild” bachelorette party, and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Lisa’s home was beautiful, cozy, perfectly located, and so well-stocked—from the kitchen to the game room to the extra little amenities like coffee and select toiletries. Lisa provided a wonderful list of recommended places to check out, and we were blown away by the town of Jim Thorpe. And finally, Lisa could not have been kinder, more welcoming and more understanding about some last-minute challenges/requests that we had. We look forward to the opportunity to return here in the future! Thank you Lisa!

I reached out and booked the place late at night erica took her time to guide me into the home and booking process the home is very spacious and private I’m a nature boy at heart so being in the woods was a great feel reminded me of the Poconos just 10 miles from my house. The river out backs very peaceful there’s a basketball court in the driveway at night the forest comes alive with night creatures (raccoons & possums ) if you are looking for a peaceful forest setting this is it …… Ohhh let’s not forget poker table for the fellas in the basement it was great to drink and play poker with the guys

What a great country location! Whether you’re looking for a weekend get away or a place to work remotely, this spot is for you. Good WiFi so I could work remotely 👍 Super comfy beds! The best part is, Amy has hard or soft beds. So whatever you like, it’s there. There’s a beautiful stream on the property with a spot for a camp fire right next to it! It’s also a great spot to see the stars. This is a country setting, but you’re also close enough to 78 to go to many local attractions. The house was set up well for cooking! I found the house to have everything I needed and it was very comfy and charming.

Jason has put a lot of work into this glamping experience and it shows. The fire pit was relaxing while enjoying the view of the area. The large White Duck canvas tent stayed bone dry despite the showers/t’storms. The bed was firm and much appreciated after a long day outside. There was an issue with a hornet’s nest initially (expected for this time of year), which Jason took care of immediately. Thank you!

Brian and Kylie's cabin is a home away from home. It's warm, comfortable, cozy, and has a great location. The fireplace was a plus for me, as I envisioned sitting in front of a fireplace on Christmas Eve drinking a cup of hot cocoa, and this cabin made my vision reality - set up and all. In the evening, sitting on the porch, it so so quiet and peaceful - a much appreciated vibe when wanting to hibernate solo. Brian and Kylie are the best hosts, I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to Airbnb a cabin in the area!
