The Pod is a ten-minute walk from scenic Sango Beach and the centre of Durness village. Two miles from the superb 9-hole Durness Golf Course and a five-minute walk from Smoo Cave.

Eddrachillis House

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land including shoreline. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. Love camping, but looking for something a little more luxurious? Then look no further than Cairn Pod. Situated in a picturesque area of Bonar Bridge Sutherland. Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Please Google or read the description in the photos of what a bothy is. If expecting a five star hotel do not stay here. Bothy with a comfy bed. One up from camping. enjoy the beauty and simplicity of the Strath Oykel scenery. A gas stove and a loo with a view. The Bothy benefits from a fire pit to enjoy sundowners and northern lights from, looking onto a loch. There is also a log burner for those chillier evenings. Bring drinking water and food. Everything else should be there.

Annie's annex

We have a flat joined onto our home a working croft overlooking Polin beach. Inside is a large bedroom wth ensuite bathroom, then a large open plan kitchen and living area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, and a large TV with free view. Wifi is available but is slow. Outside has a private parking space with a table and bench for sitting at. No pets. We are three miles from kinlochbervie village but a five minute walk to Polin beach.

Enjoy pure tranquillity at Per Mare Per Terram

Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin that boasts breath taking views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions. The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave,kettle, toaster and excellent wi-fi. It also has a shower room and modern composting toilet.

The Kylesku Kabin- luxurious wilderness

A luxuriously appointed property situated on the NC500 overlooking some of the most iconic mountains and sea lochs of Assynt. Kylesku Kabin has been fully renovated by acclaimed architect Helen Lucas and is owned by the previous owners of the nationally recognised multi-award winning Kylesku Hotel, which is within walking distance. The property features a luxurious spa bathroom, including steam room and inspirational open plan living space, designer kitchen and garden.

Whisky - Pods on the Croft

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

Old School Byre Coastal Getaway

The Old School Byre is our coastal dog-friendly self-catering holiday cottage near Lochinver on the Stoer Peninsula with mountain and sea views plus optional extras including guided hikes and stargazing nights (weather permitting!). Ideally suited for couples who want to enjoy some close-to-nature togetherness, as well as solo travellers looking for a creative retreat. Take the slow road on the NC500 with a stay at ours!

The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
