From the unit you are invited to go to the Hatzbani stream to surf on tubes in the cold but pleasant water stream. In Sde Nehemia there is a pizzeria, ice cream parlor, and Thai food. The house is located on the outskirts of the kibbutz, a 3-minute walk to the Jordan River and the Jordan Promenade.
