This was the most peaceful and beautiful space I have ever been to. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. All the greenery and the deers and random dog was super gorgeous and felt really at home. The hot tub was amazing and super relaxing. Robert was very kind and responsive, Received a phone call about all the lights, hot tub, close trails, and recommended spots!! Super helpful and very kind gesture. Would 100% go back to this place

The view of the redwoods is magnificent. This and the delightful layout of the house made for the perfect vacation. The bath robes were fun to relax in too. The host really goes the extra mile with this property.

We loved staying at Shelli’s home in Monterey Dunes Colony. Every room was set up nicely and clean, and you could tell Shelli has put a lot of care into the home. There were 7 of us and each family member enjoyed their stay. We love staying at Monterey Dunes Colony because the location can’t be beat. Every home has their quirks but honestly we didn’t find any at Shelli’s. It was comfortable to hang out and enjoy the beach and scenery, and close enough to outdoor activities and the aquarium. The living room is set up comfortably for a big group, while offering privacy too. It was a restful and rejuvenating getaway! We plan to book again.

Our family had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Sean and Wendy's home. The home and exterior space are immaculate with lots of incredible details and features. Our kids had fun running around and exploring the gardens. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to get away and make some memories. Thank you Sean and Wendy!

Everything about our stay was fantastic!! The beds, the pool, the town…the three of us loved this Airbnb and look forward to coming back. Swimming in a heated pool in the winter is a heavenly experience.

Great location, great stay. Beautiful and comfortable space. Worked well for our family of 4. The third bedroom felt a little far away to have our littlest stay in alone but thankfully the second bedroom had a large bed for both kids. Wagon and chairs provided were great for the beach.

We loved every moment spent in this house ,especially the cats , the house was very comfortable, clean and cozy, I would definitely recommend this house .

I’ve stayed in many an Airbnb and this one might be my all time favorite. For starters, on check in there was no need for me to spend an hour cleaning all the stuff that other hosts often overlook. Just as the pictures show, the old school house is a big, beautiful unique space. We were able to combine three generations of family and have plenty of room for all. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I especially loved the entire wall of bookshelves upstairs with lots of great options if you didn’t bring a book. We added two to the collection on our departure. Carmen welcomed us with a vase of flowers, a bottle of wine and eggs and butter for pancakes. Finally, a note on location. As a native Californian I know that some people wonder “why Watsonville??” But this central location allowed us to go to Monterey one day and Santa Cruz the next while providing us with a much larger and enjoyable rental than had we stayed in either of those spots. And the farm views are not to be overlooked

Perfect place to stay near the beach. Was too cold for beach activities but enjoyed walking the neighborhoods along the beaches with all the spring flowers blooming. House had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Great hosts!

We spent a long weekend at Lauren's place and it was a wonderful, relaxing home away from home. Check-in was super smooth and we absolutely loved the area the listing was in. It's walkable (or a very short drive) to many local eateries, breweries, shops, and cafes on the west side and there's also plenty of nature-oriented things to do since it's so close to the ocean — hikes, beaches, walks, parks etc. The listing itself was very clean and had everything we need. Lauren even left some snacks and drinks for us as a welcome gift which we thought was very sweet. The kitchen is well stocked for your needs there. The one small setback was that it didn't have a a full sized refrigerator so the frozen foods we bought didn't quite fit into the mini fridge's freezer section. Everything was spotless and though it was raining while we were there, we would definitely come back and enjoy the patio space next time. Highly recommend this listing for a peaceful getaway to Santa Cruz.

We had a great stay. Ian’s place is cute, comfortable, and close to everything but still nice and quiet. Beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. My dogs had a great time walking through the neighborhood to the beach and hanging out in the fenced in backyard! The hot tub was a highlight, and Ryan (Ian’s brother) was awesome—he spent nearly a whole day cleaning it after the previous guests to make sure it was perfect for us. Communication with him was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mariam's place! From the moment we booked, Mariam was incredibly kind and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions right away. The house was spotless and super cozy — the perfect size for our family of four and our two pups! It's in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, just a short walk to the beach, which was a huge plus for us. We felt so at home and would absolutely love to come back. Thank you again, Mariam, for such a lovely experience!

This house was great for our family of four. We had plenty of space, the kitchen was well equipped, and the outside area gave the kids a nice place to play. Our toddler especially enjoyed the Thomas train set in his room! This is a lovely area of Santa Cruz too - easy walk to the beach and Boardwalk.

This was our third year using Donna’s home for our week-long annual trip to the Monterey peninsula. We have always been pleased with our stay, and this year was no different. Donna’s home has everything a family or group could need. The home has always been clean and tidy. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to most of the points of interest in this area including golf courses, the popular Monterey Bay Aquarium/Fisherman’s Wharf, and Laguna Seca Raceway. Her communication has been friendly and clear - no troubles to speak of. If you are considering a stay in this area, either short or longer term, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Booked for my parents to stay at for my wedding. We were met with brownies and a wonderful home. Incredible views overlooking Carmel in a peaceful, private setting. It was everything we could have asked for and more. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Louise's place for our mini family reunion. Place was set up great for two families and was especially helpful for our toddler with the baby gates already on the stairs and the child lock on the games cabinet. The house was exceptionally well appointed with beach toys in the garage, games, books, and even kids place settings. Would absolutely stay again!

Place was great--fit our needs perfectly. Recommend opening windows at night to bring in that beautiful fresh air. Our 4.5 yo was absolutely over the moon by all the activities outside in the yard-- very well equipped area for adults and kids alike! The sand toys were also a hit--we loved walking to the beach and appreciated how well written the instructions were. Just took a photo of them and went on our way. Only bummer is the lack of sidewalks in Aptos, but most cars do seem to watch for walkers. Marianne's ice cream is great, and tamales across the street also fantastic. Weather cooperated and the easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey made this location ideal. Colm was a great host--responded immediately to any questions I had. Very thankful for this spring break trip--we truly feel rejuvenated!

This house was exactly what it was described as. It was immaculately presented and very easy to find everything and we were greeted by a lovely gift when we arrived. We had an amazing time at the house and would recommend this to anybody. We were also contacted by Sarah on the day we were checking out asking would like a later check out. This was amazing for us as trying to get four children together and all of our luggage meant it gave us that little bit extra time to make sure we had everything before we left. If ever we we were in Aptos again, we would stay here 100%.

We love this place. They have thought of everything you will need from life vests and beach toys for the kids to parchment paper to cook with. All you need to bring is your own food and clothing and your set. Great location to walk down to the beach or go over to Marriannes for some ice cream. It is clean and cozy and we can't wait to come back.

Andrew was a great host who was responsive and proactive. The space was comfortable, quiet and within walking distance of the ocean. The king sized bed was comfortable. There is a small kitenette with a mini-fridge. Parking is on the street in front of the unit. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this for your visit to Santa Cruz!
