“Lovely little bolthole with everything you need for a cosy stay. The cabin is very privately set on the edge of a wooded area and close to the sea which is just a walk down the lane. There’s a great pub on the beach front and the village of Seatown is an unspoilt haven and perfect for cliff walking and exploring delightful Dorset. Humphrey was very helpful and gave me some good recommendations for coastal excursions x I thoroughly enjoyed my stay x”
Dairy Cottage is a beautiful, detached, period farmhouse circa 1700's. Dairy Cottage is built of local stone under a slate roof, the house has retained some original features such as inglenook fireplace and exposed timber beams. The house enjoys wonderful views to the front towards its own farmland. Outside to the front of the main house is a walled garden with lawn, roses and shrubs. Free off-road parking.
“The traveller or holiday maker can expect a well run and well-hosted farm house with all modern comforts. Mark and Julie are experts in making you more than welcome, accepted in fact. The stay was a happy experience.”
A unique and romantic hideaway, Quarryman's Cottage is dinner on the roof terrace watching the sunset over Lyme Bay & Charmouth, stargazing from the luxury freestanding bath, epic views from the double shower, reading under the old oak tree, BBQ's & firepits, leisurely walks to The Anchor at Seatown via Golden Cap or the coastal path, the sound of birdsong, the glimpse of a deer, curling up in front of the wood burner in winter. It is a tranquil & heavenly escape from the bustle of daily life.
“The cottage is simply amazing. Modern, but with a touch of history both inside and out. Everything you could ever need is there, alongside a view that is stunning both day and night. The space has a quiet serenity about it, being set in the hills, and is completely private. Louise was a perfect host and was warm and welcoming when we arrived after dark. She was very attentive and made sure we have everything we need, as well as responding promptly to messages. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Louise's cottage if you're looking for somewhere on the Jurassic Coast.”
