House holiday rentals in Selly Oak

The house and gardens were absolutely perfect for our annual get together. From multiple spacious living spaces and a well equipped kitchen to comfortable bedrooms the whole house is exceptionally well thought out and a real home from home. The real standout though is the outside space. We spent lots of afternoons and evenings outside on the patio under the gorgeous pergola or in the hot tub and the space is peaceful with beautiful views across to the Malvern hills. Dionne and Mark were superb hosts and very responsive to any questions we had. All in all a fantastic week and we are all keen to revisit the house soon.

The place was lovely. Beautiful location with a fantastic view. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Communication with Hephzi was great throughout and we had a great time. Some notes for people staying. There is a separate building fairly close to the property on the grounds that people are living in (who are friendly and kept themselves to themselves). The house is also very lived in, just if you expect the Airbnb to be a neutral accommodation you'll find nods to the family in all rooms. Also to be clear on the sleeping situation there are 2 double rooms with en suite for couples. One single room. Another double room. A room with a double bed and bunks beds in (en suite) plus a study with a sofa bed in. This isn't completely clear from listing and photos. Pool, hot tub, tennis court and outside space all great!

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy’s place. The coach house is very comfortable and the gardens are stunning, we underestimated how extensive and beautiful they would be. The pool is lovely too. The location is a great place to explore the Cotswolds and we’d recommend booking a table at the local pub for dinner too! Hope we can return one day!

We are so grateful to have found this wonderful air b n b. It was the perfect venue for our hen party. The hosts had gone all out on decor for the garden room for us in advance. It was beautifully kitted out and a wonderful touch. We are so grateful. The rooms were spacious with adequate room for everyone with plenty of towels for hot tub usage. The hot tub wasn’t quite warm enough as we arrived but the host was quick to respond and there is a hot tap in the garden which worked wonders. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with lots of the essentials which is great. The property location seems odd as it’s on a main road, but it’s next to a gorgeous poppy field and a pub which does good food. (Although we had to wait for a quite a while with a large party of people). The only thing we can fault is that there is no dishwasher, for a large group of people this would have really helped and I’d recommend it. All in all we had a brilliant stay, brilliant house and brilliant host

Had the most perfect stay here, hosts were super friendly and welcoming, location was idyllic, particularly enjoyed my morning coffee with Monty the horse! Only wish we had stayed longer, will definitely stay again in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Very pleased with our weekend stay. it is set up with activities to keep you entertained and two massive TVs we connected multiplayer games to.. they were also very helpful when we mashed the parking situation and needed to be told to change things and were very polite in doing so. very very clean top to bottom. my only criticism is there were no tea towels!! other than that - good value place in a nice area close to central Leicester with decent hosts. thanks for putting us up. xxx

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of five (2 adults and 3 children), and had a lovely time. The location was peaceful and perfect for a short break. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our needs. The kids had plenty of space to play and relax. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a quiet, convenient base in the area.Communication with the host was smooth and everything went as expected. We'd happily stay again!

We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night break at Turnip Cottage. Everything was perfect for our group. The cottage was spacious, homely and fully equipped. The facilities were excellent. We were a party of 5 adults and two children aged 14 and 10 and we made good use of the 2 games rooms in the courtyard. The children loved the tennis court / football / go-cart area and we all made good use of the swimming pool and gym. The owner was very friendly and helpful and directed us to a lovely private walk within the grounds. We will definitely meet our friends at the cottage again and enjoy another peacefully perfect weekend in this beautiful part of the country.

We managed the get this booking very last minute and we weren’t disappointed in the slightest, the rooms were beautiful, so much space including the garden. It had everything we needed. We really loved the decor. But for us the hosts made the trip. So thoughtful and considerate, and despite our own lack of packing skills, kindly sorted us out, truely grateful, such a kind gesture. Really great communication and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout. Definitely looking to stay again!

We had a lovely stay here, despite the bin strikes, which were ongoing at the time! It's a great property with excellent hosts, and we would recommend to anyone working or visiting Birmingham.

The host was great and provided all the information we needed in a timely fashion. They were very responsive to our messages. I requested that the Kingsize beds be split into singles and everything was done perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked and there were fresh towels for us on every bed. The amenities were perfect for us as a large family and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Absolutely brilliant and so much better than having to use several hotel rooms.

Check-in was smooth and easy, the host was very communicative and always replied instantly, he sent us the code to get in the instant we asked, no waiting around, made sure everything was working out for us, and it was— the place was clean and spacious and had perfect connections to the resorts world/bp pulse arena, the airport, and the city centre all one short train ride away, and it was only a 10 minute walk to the station!

It is exactly what is listed. Very closer to Compton Training Ground, no frills good value.

Great house, exactly what we needed

A great find! The house was super clean, spacious, and perfect for our team of 6 contractors. We had plenty of room to relax after work and felt very much at home. Our host Joan was fab and we would happily stay again.

An awesome stay - this place is real value for money and Nigel is an excellent host. Top notch!!!

The accommodation served the 6 of us really well. The area is quiet , but £6 in an uber gets you into the city. Ricky was really helpful and let us check in early without any additional costs. When we are next working In the area , we will 100% be booking here again.

Another stay. This place was very convenient for where we needed to be. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants.

Kit Provided more than the basic necessities: plenty of towels, spare pillows & blankets, basic seasonings, cooking & cleaning supplies. We were so comfortable & also just a walk away from the train station & a high street. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to book with Kit again!
