Holiday rentals with beach access in Shelter Cove

The house was AMAZING! The kitchen is stocked with everything needed once you've bought your groceries! The rooms were spacious and the grounds were well kept. A very beautiful home and we felt extremely comfortable staying there! Shelter Cove is a quiet beach town with lots of natural beauty, walking trails, and you've got to visit Black Sand Beach while there! Marc's house overlooks the Cove; we spent every evening watching the sun set over the ocean. What a peaceful place to be!!! On the only road in and out (Shelter Cove Rd) there is a stand of old growth Redwoods and a small parking area off the road where you can hike. A must see area while there. One thing to know is the road has many curves and some are really tight. You definitely want to plan your trip to the grocery store and get everything you need at one time - it takes about 50 minutes to the closest one in Redway. There is a small shop near the house but the prices are significantly higher there.

Theresa's place is an absolute gem of heavenly serenity! Located in the magical yet sleepy coastal hamlet of Shelter Cove, this is one of those rare accommodations, memories of which will last a life time. Theresa's studio is charmingly quaint and it will welcome you just as described. She's a great communicator and a very resourceful person when it comes to information about the local community as well as the redwood parks nearby. To top it off, the view of the Pacific (which is at a distance though) from the patio is just incredible. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom was squeaky clean and the studio was decked with just the right kind of furniture that you need to spend the weekend. 100% recommended, we will definitely visit again.

The rocky cliffs waves crashing view is wowzy. The roads to get there are a bit nerve racking if your used to mostly flat roads.

We had our family vacation at the Beach house, and it could not have been more perfect. Very close to restaurants and other amenities. Very comfortable beds, everything you need to cook, and the most amazing views of the ocean. - Mary We had the best accommodations! This was our second stay at Delmar's home and we plan to stay again next year. That should sum up our satisfaction with our experience. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the private planes taking off and landing. It's an easy walk to the Gyppo Ale Mill, the light house and the extensive tide pools below. The home is well appointed, comfortable and sparkling clean.

This location on Sea View Road in Shelter Cove overlooks the ocean. The windows throughout the house give you ocean views everywhere and the feeling of a wide 180 degree view of the ocean in the living room area. The place is perfectly equipped with kitchen, bathroom, bedding and laundry. It's so relaxing, it really transformed my mood. I also enjoyed the local restaurants, it's overall a very friendly, peaceful place.

Jie provided me and my friends with a great space to spend our holiday week. I will definitely be coming back in the near future! This is the perfect space for friends and family to lounge and enjoy beautiful views.

My experience definitely exceeded expectations! Excellent kitchen with all of the cooking amenities I needed (including an outdoor propane grill)! Marcedes was very responsive to all of my questions before and after check-in, she was very friendly and set up the grill for us before we arrived. The home itself is beautiful and cozy (there were even some toys and books for my toddler!). My only flag is that there is no wifi. This was fine for us because the cell service is good in the area, but may be a challenge for those planning to use wifi. I would definitely stay here again!

We rent homes on the coast often to take our children and our dog. This home is a gem. Well not directly at the ocean, we found its location fantastic. We couldn’t recommend Heather‘s house any higher.

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

A great cozy stay with beautiful views and surroundings. The inside was nice and clean with plenty of amenities. The sounds of the oceans were peaceful. The sunset over the ocean was beautiful. The hot tub is a great addition. Would definitely stay there again.

We stopped at Simy’s for two nights during our honeymoon! The house and the beach were breathtaking and we enjoyed the quietness of the area in October. A few cute little restaurants and coffee shops but overall small town feel which we loved and we had everything we needed! Honestly, one of the absolute coolest places I have ever lodged at!
