[Barrel Sauna Available (Extra Charge)] Modern-style Traditional House for Rent/Up to 8 People/Terrace with Roof Available/Tent Sauna Available
Welcome to [3Re: KEITA]! From a house without personality to a house with personality We remade an old house that had been left without any features. Re Origine (reuse what you can, don't destroy more than necessary) Re Make (reuse waste materials and give them new life) Re Meaning (Don't let them tell you there's nothing in the countryside) Based on the concept of the 3 Re's, we strive to create new value while cherishing rural roots. Haruya Guesthouse
Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

A quiet private stay in rural Japan, one hour from Kyoto. A traditional house, slowly renovated by the host, a Japanese painter, into a modern teahouse-inspired space. The garden includes a small handmade skate landscape, like a sculpture. It invites you to slow down before you enter. Surrounded by fields, with sounds of birds, wind, and water. Stars at night. A place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. Ideal for writing, creative work, and quiet stays. 2+ nights recommended.

Omi's Machiya "Kado" Traditional building preservation area
This is the only guest house (entire house rental) facing Shinmachi Street in an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The streets lined with merchants' houses, built in the late Edo period to the Meiji era, give you a strange feeling as if time has stopped when you step into it. This Shinmachi neighborhood is important not only for its scenery but also as a historical site. This is a very rare accommodation where you can stay in such an area.
