There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

森の中のポツンと一軒家。宮大工さんがつくった数少ない立派な古民家で、山暮らしを楽しみませんか。ジブリのような森の道を進んだ先にある家では、BBQをしたり、焚火をしたり、五右衛門風呂を沸かしたり、山の中だからこそできる自然遊びを満喫できます。街灯がひとつもなく、夜は満天の星空がみられることもあります。季節ごとにみられる山の姿を全身で感じながら過ごすひと時は現代では忘れ去られた心安らぐ豊かな時間を思い出させてくれます。 立派な大黒柱を中心に、土壁や備え付け収納など昔ながらそのままの古民家ですが、1階は全面無垢の杉板となっており、新しさも感じさせます。水回りは新設のアイランドキッチンや大きな洗面ボウルが特徴的です。お風呂は薪、ガス兼用の五右衛門風呂で薪で炊くことも温水を出すこともできます。 家の外には人懐っこい看板猫の青助がいて、外にいるとすり寄ってきます。 石鎚登山ロープウェイまで車で15分程度の位置にあるため、登山にも行きやすい立地です。
