A lovely dual-aspect room with private bathroom in a light and airy house. Our property is situated in a Cotswold village, easily accessible to Burford, Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold. Local attractions include Blenheim Palace, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Daylesford Organic Farmshop/Spa/Restaurant/Cafe. We are perfectly-placed for local walks, including our much-loved Secret Garden. There is a good choice of places to eat within walking distance, and more a short drive away.
“We enjoyed our weekend away at Liz's beautiful home. Liz is a great host, kink, quick to respond and gave us a lot of advice on where to go, The bedroom and the adjacent bathroom is super clean and nicely decorated. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower has great pressure. The breakfast was help-yourself style with toast, jam, butter, yogurt, cereal, coffee and tea. We were also able to prepare simple meal and making tea/coffee when we needed. We will stay again if we come back!”
The Wychwood Nook in Shipton Under Wychwood sleeps 4 people. The Nook is a super two bedroom, two bathroom single storey holiday cottage suitable for couples or families wishing to enjoy a relaxing break. Originally part of a 14th Century farm, the cottage, which is semi-detached, is light and spacious with views across Cotswold farmland.
“The Wychwood Nook is perfect for families . . . lots of space, 2 bathrooms (one of which is brand new and really lovely), fluffy towels, comfy beds and some handy games, puzzles and books. The kitchen has a lot of useful things too, which saves you having to pack everything. There was a really thoughtful basket of bread, biscuits and chocolate and milk in the fridge, on arrival. Keri was really welcoming and kindly offered to lend us some extra toys for our toddler and tips on what to do in the local area. The Nook is really well located for exploring the Cotswolds. There are lots of great walks and pubs nearby and also several places to visit with children. Crocodiles of the World is particularly brilliant!”

“We have just returned from two-night stay at Sue's cottage where we had a truly fabulous time (despite the awful stormy weather)! The cottage is much bigger than the pictures suggest, it is also extremely comfortable and very well appointed. The location is perfect to discover the beautiful Cotswold countryside and some splendid local villages. Sue (and Helen) were super lovely and responsive hosts. We really loved our visit and hope to be back... maybe with the sunshine next time. Thanks again for hosting us Sue!”
