It is located on a hill 650 m from the coastline at an altitude of 95 m. ◆ The host is a self-proclaimed Parisian who loves cooking and loves guests. If you like, we can eat together (no extra charge)! ◆ It is a place where you can stay with pets. The host also lives with dogs and cats. ◆ Please contact us in advance if you are bringing children. We will charge a child fee (see "Other things to note" below). ◆ The guest room is on the 2nd floor. You will need to use the stairs. On the 2nd floor there is a guest room, a dining kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, shower room, washroom, toilet, washing machine, dryer, and a spacious private terrace. Feel free to use the kitchen supplies. ◆ The other room on the 2nd floor is the host family's bedroom, so when they go to bed or wake up, they will be on the same floor. Please refrain from contacting the host if you are concerned. ◆ In preparation for the Nankai Trough Earthquake, this house is earthquake-resistant with a lightweight steel frame, solar power generation, and a storage battery. We also have plenty of water and food supplies. Please stay with peace of mind.

Shiomiya is an inn located in Kurisu River, a post town near Takishiri Oji, along the Kumano Kodo Nakabe Road. It is a renovated traditional Japanese house with over 100 years of history.We have renovated it as an inn where travellers walking the Kumano Kodo can relax and unwind, while retaining the charm of a traditional Japanese house.Please relax and unwind from the fatigue of your trip in a space with the accommodation's prized irori (traditional hearth).For dinner and breakfast, we serve dishes made with local ingredients.This is an inn where travellers from all over the world and local people naturally gather and spend a warm time together. Reservations are for individual rooms, not for the entire building.The shower, toilet and lounge are shared.As it is an old house, there are some areas where sound can be heard easily, but please enjoy a stay that is unique to a small inn, where guests can enjoy a comfortable distance from each other.

This is a purely Japanese-style room. It is an old private house, but all the shared spaces have been renovated, so you can use them. We also provide an open deck with a view of the starry sky at night and a work room with air conditioning and heating to make your stay comfortable even for medium to long term stays. Dinner is a very large meal made with local seafood, meat and vegetables. We also sell bento boxes for lunch the next day.
