Sakura Entire 63-m² villa-style apartment Holiday home with unparalleled sea views and the most beautiful Pacific sunsets

'SAKURA' is a waterfront villa-style apartment right by the sea and the Kaichu Observation Tower, where you can enjoy the most beautiful Pacific sunset views in privacy. The homestay is located in the core area of Shirahama Scenic Area, so it is convenient to get around and can be reached on foot.Only 3 minutes on foot from the bus stop and the braai noodle shop; Senjojiki and Sandanbeki are 11-15 minutes on foot; Family mart and white beach are 9-13 minutes on foot; the market is 7 minutes by car, 13 minutes by bus. The homestay is fully equipped, safe and quiet. From the balcony and bathtub, you can enjoy an unbeatable sea view and witness the most beautiful sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. It is perfect for unwinding and daydreaming… The condominium park area is closed management and there are wide meadows for children and pets to run, play, camp. Our room is on the ground floor. In Shirahama, temperatures never drop below zero throughout the year, and there are quite a few mosquitoes. Cockroaches have wings and can fly into the room, so please be sure to close the mosquito nets when opening doors and windows during the day to prevent mosquitoes from entering. Make your family enjoy the convenience of staying close to everything in this main landscape, such as the Shirahama Sea Prospect Tower and more. As this is a sulphur hot spring area, all metal-plated surfaces, such as taps, will corrode and turn black, and the parts of the bathtub hot spring tap that come into contact with the water column will also corrode and turn black. The hot spring equipment is currently being replaced and is temporarily out of service; the bathing facilities are operating as normal.

A former inn located on a hill with the remains of an old castle in Wakayama, Shirahama, and Kumano Kodo. Up to 5 people. Toilet, spacious barrier-free bath

Founded in 1957, my grandfather, Eiichi Tanuchi, ran an inn called Aiwasho for the cultural development of Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture. In order to continue to protect its history and traditions, his granddaughter, Kiushuko, reopened the inn under its original name in 2021. Built on the site of Ueno Castle, this inn is a traditional Japanese house with tatami mats on the floor. Please relax in one of the two Japanese-style rooms. The inn is located on a hill overlooking the city of Tanabe, so you can enjoy the morning sun, sunset, and night view. On a calm day, we recommend having tea in a wicker chair on the edge of the hinoki cypress wooden deck, which was made in the image of the moon viewing platform of the Katsura Imperial Villa. The newly installed bath and toilet are spacious and barrier-free, so you can bathe together or use them easily even if you need assistance. We installed popin.aladdin (lighting with projector) in one of the Japanese-style rooms. It projects on the sliding doors You can watch TV, music, movies, etc. Enjoy BGM on YouTube before you go out in the morning. My parents, Kisaku and Shuko Tanai (Japanese), live next to the house, so please let me know if you need anything.
