Luana House: A log house nestled by the river and surrounded by nature A secluded detached house located on the border between Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures, approximately two hours from Tokyo. You can enjoy a peaceful stay, as if you were at a resort somewhere. Fishing is possible all year round in the river right in front of the hotel, and swimming and kayaking are also popular activities. On the spacious covered deck, you can enjoy a BBQ (authentic American grill) or socialise without worrying about the weather (optional, ¥3,000). From the veranda, there is a private view of the river. You can watch the sunrise while swinging in the hammock, read a book, or work remotely. In the outdoor bath, a starry sky unfolds at night. You can watch Netflix and other services on either the first or second floor. Convenient access to popular tourist destinations such as Nasu, Nikko and Twin Ring Motegi. This property is not a hotel but a holiday rental carefully managed by the owner. We would be delighted if our guests could also feel at home and enjoy their stay in our villa. This is a house on the shore of Lake Otsuka Park in Shin-Mizuto Hakkei. It started in July 2021. You can have a relaxing chat with friends and family, or shut out the busy everyday life and spend time looking at the pond. Self check-in and check-out. We're renovating, but The building is old and located in nature, so please refrain from booking if you are nervous. We have two single and semi-double beds from Simmons, which were used in the 1970s chandeliers and luxury hotels. The Japanese-style room can accommodate up to 3 people. Otsukaike Park has a 2.6 km path that is perfect for walking pets and running, and the Sakura Square, wooden bridges, playground equipment, fishing, and picnics make it a great place for people to relax. It is one of the leading swan migratory spots in the Kanto region, and in winter, many swans rest their wings, and it is a very beautiful pond surrounded by magnificent trees such as Japanese red pines. There is a supermarket, "Gokuraku-yu", nearby. We have electric stoves and kerosene stoves available. This is an old house-style building located just off the Nikko Kaido. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.) This is a private lakeside inn with a large garden located on the shore of Otsuka Pond, which is also selected as one of Ibaraki's top 100 sightseeing spots. This is a special building designed as an architect's home, and when you go up the stairs at the entrance, you will have an excellent view from the second floor. The 15-tatami living room, which connects to the dining kitchen and bedroom, is spacious and ideal for parties. The new room "KADO" has also been completed since spring 2024! You can enjoy the garden and Otsuka Pond more, and there is a semi-double bed. Our house was renovated recently. 13 - 15 mins to Oarai station by walk. We also have several bicycles for visitors. You can use them for free.
