Holiday rentals in Simpang Durian

We recently stayed at Eden Villa for a family staycation, and it was an amazing experience! With 9 adults, the villa provided the perfect setting for quality bonding time. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the large, fully equipped kitchen was a joy to use—we even made glutinous rice balls to celebrate the Winter Solstice. The activities were fantastic—we enjoyed fishing, cycling, motorcycling around the orchid garden, BBQing, karaoke, and catching the sunrise. The serene surroundings were so relaxing, leaving us feeling refreshed and recharged. A big thank you to Butler Andri, who was incredibly helpful in assisting with the activities, and Cook Relly, who prepared delicious meals, including a fantastic nasi lemak for breakfast. We also loved the warm welcome with their homegrown fruits like papaya, mangosteen, and banana. The villa’s views and ambiance made our stay so special. We’re already looking forward to returning, hopefully for a longer stay next time. Thank you, Eden

Such a nice relaxing nature retreat. Celebrated my son’s birthday here and the fam had a blast. Remember to bring your own mosquito coils and patches because there are a lot of mosquitoes- as this place is surrounded by lush greens.

The location was private deep inside the forestry area, seated by the river. We enjoyed the sound of the river and great dining at their private cafe. So relaxing and peaceful, our experience was nothing short of amazing.

The house is spacious, my family enjoy fishing, lots of fish even though the pond size not as large as we expected.. the kids enjoy running around.. En Kamal is very kind, responsive and generous.. we also booked the other cottage available within same area.. overall is ok..

The place is fantastic to unwind and disconnect with the hussle and bussle of the city. There were many things for the kids to do like fishing (yes, you can actually catch a talapia fish and even grill it fresh!), swimming and cycling. The views are amazing. The drive to place is scenic. This is one of the best trips and places to be. 5 stars all the way. Super underrated. Additionally, Taslim and the caretaker was just so polite and accommodating. I cannot recomment this place enough.

this place is very good for family gathering. but do bring food for restore because kinda hard to get grab food. nature friendly as u wake up with river in front of u. I love the structure of the house, very comfy. also the owner is so friendly n helpful. just beware of the dogs outside the units, overall, all good

Had a great and novel experience staying at Ecolodge! It’s a chalet-style homestay located in the middle of a durian farm. Despite that, it is actually cleaner and better maintained than most of the regular hotels in the area! The room is reasonably clean with serviceable air-con. Water pump in the bathroom is strong and the heater works well too. It’s located in a farmland, so quite its peaceful and lush, expect some pesky bugs in your stay! Some house geckos have also seem to have found a home in the container room. They won’t intrude your stay much and probably help keep your room slightly bug-free, but watch out for their surprising present! (Lizard droppings)
