Newly built guest house ‘Ludwig’ in Västervik/Gränsö

Just a few minutes from the centre of Västervik lies the Gränsö Nature Reserve, a coastal peninsula where nature takes centre stage. Located in a quiet area, we rent out our guest house, which offers a partial view of the water and has nature as its closest neighbour. Here, you wake up to the sparkling sea and the chirping of birds, and fall asleep to the tranquillity of the forest. There are several bathing areas, and the nearest one can be found about one hundred and fifty metres from the guest house. You can set off on hiking trails right from your doorstep.

Nattstugan - charming accommodation by the church in Västervik

Stay in one of Västervik’s oldest wooden houses, right next to St Gertrude’s Church, which dates back to at least the early 18th century. Nattstugan is an accommodation that exudes historic charm. The old loft apartment was carefully renovated by an architectural firm in the 1960s. The location is both central and peaceful, just a stone’s throw from Storgatan and Stadsparken. The apartment can accommodate a family of up to four. In addition to a small kitchenette and bathroom, guests have access to a cosy stone-paved courtyard surrounded by the churchyard.

The cottage is equipped with air conditioning that provides a comfortable indoor temperature even on the hottest days of summer. The house is located just 10 minutes from the summer town of Västervik, and 30 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world. Within 10 minutes drive, there are several lakes for fishing. The accommodation consists of a house of 100 sqm and a guest house of 25 sqm as well as a terrace of 80 sqm with a view.

Welcome to a peaceful, rural accommodation, perfect for those who want to relax while still being close to places to visit. Approximately 25 minutes to Västervik and 15 minutes to Gunnebo. In Gunnebo there is a sea beach and a small grocery store. Toven, one of Västervik's finest inland bathing places, is about 10 minutes away at Västrum, which also offers a beautiful archipelago. Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby can be reached in 45 minutes and the location is ideal for day trips to Kalmar, Linköping, Norrköping and Jönköping.

Resource in our cozy cottage, furnished with an eye for warm colors and soft materials. Lilla Stugan is located in the middle of the woods and meadows and has its own bathing area, sauna and boat. It is part of an old Swedish farmhouse on a 10 hectare property located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora directly from the terrace or during long walks in the surrounding area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the attractively lit terrace.

In Västervik's archipelago is beautiful Gränsö, which is a peninsula and a nature reserve located about 5 km from the center of Västervik. Västervik became the summer city of the year in 2020. On a unique waterfront plot in one of Gränsö's best locations, we rent out our fresh 56 sqm cottage, from 2013. The cottage has 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft, kitchen and living room in an open plan with a fireplace. The cottage sleeps a total of 5 people. Toilet with shower and washing machine.

Settle down on the sun-warmed rocks or on your private patio with your morning coffee and take in the lake view. Take a refreshing dip from the jetty and enjoy the sunset from the cliffs.

Warm welcome to our semi-detached house, which is located in the countryside near the coust between Västervik and Oskarshamn. The house is located in a calm idyllic area, with neighbours around, so it fits you who likes calmness. Earlier it was a cat in the house. Around 2 km from the house, it´s a village called Blankaholm. There you can swim in the sea, icecream café, mini golf and more. You also have the possibility to rent a small boat or go with a boat on a seatrip.

Welcome to beautiful Västervik! The house of 30 sqm contains a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with shower, Bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping loft for 2 people. Pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Guests make their own beds. Of course, there is a TV, Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth speaker. It's only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the centre. Note: The house has been expanded in 2025 to get to a proper bedroom.

Hus Skärgården offers 2 bedrooms plus a separate guest cottage, fireplace, fast internet and a sauna by the boat jetty overlooking the sea. A motorboat is included from April to October, and a SUP board is also available. One dog is welcome – perfect for a relaxing holiday in the Swedish archipelago.
