WELCOME to our newly renovated and modern guest house of 110 sqm, with colors on the walls, painted with environmentally and allergy-friendly paint. The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

You will have your own entrance to the apartment. From the bedroom entrance to the TV room/kitchenette with the possibility of sleeping 2 people on the sofa bed. From the TV room, there is access to a private bathroom/toilet. There will be the opportunity to store things in a refrigerator with a small freezer. There is an electric kettle so you can make coffee and tea. In the kitchenette, there is 1 mobile hot plate and 2 small pots as well as 1 oven No frying in the room. Cold drinks can be purchased for DKK 5 and wine for DKK 35. Pay in cash or MobilePay.

Nice and spacious annex of 30 sqm in rural surroundings. Close to the highway, so you can quickly get to Skanderborg, Silkeborg and Aarhus. In the Annex there is a bedroom, living room and kitchenette. In the kitchenette, there will be some kitchen utensils so you can make some coffee and toast some bread. Lovely annexe in a picturesque location on a country property. Garden and field view. Private bathroom. Bed linen/towels are included. TV with chromecast. Necessary service is available as well as microwave and fridge. On the property's 6 ha, occasionally horses go, the neighboring property is one of Denmark's largest vineyards. You can enjoy some lovely walks in the area. It is about 12 km to Kolding and Fredericia . Approx. 6 km to shops. Approx. 35 km to Legoland. There is no public transport to our location.

There is also a large living room with the possibility of "cinema" cosiness with a large screen, a game of foosball or just pure relaxation with a good book. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There's a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex.
