Summer house by the Wadden Sea

Hans and I rent out our lovely renovated cottage by the Wadden Sea. The house is large, spacious and cozy. There is a spa, an activity room with table tennis and a large outdoor area. Distance to the Wadden Sea is 1.5 km and about 20 km to Rømø with wide white beaches. There are shopping opportunities in Skærbæk and Højer. There is peace and quiet, but with plenty of opportunities for excursions in the area. The area is part of the Wadden Sea National Park. In autumn, you can experience the "Black Sun". Possibility of two beds for children.

Large family house with a large garden and within walking distance of the Wadden Sea. From the garden, you can see the Wadden Sea on the horizon and the ferry on its way to the German island of Sylt. The excellent hiking trails around Ballum pass right by the house. 20 km to Rømø beach, 20 km to the German border, 30 km to Ribe, an hour's drive to Legoland in Billund and an hour's drive to Esbjerg. In Ballum, 1 km from the house, there is a small grocery store where you can shop whenever you want, because it is self-service.

You will be staying close to the Wadden Sea, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Højer is worth a visit with the beautiful old houses and the small streets with sights such as Højer mill, Højer sluse, arts and crafts. The home: Ground floor contains a small kitchen, hallway with stairs to 1st floor, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with double bed, dining room, and TV room. TV with the option to cast. 1st floor, small toilet, two bedrooms with double beds. You bring your own bed linen and towels.

The apartment is on the 1st floor and about 100m2 with air conditioning. A cozy living room with board games, sofa, PS4, smart TV and everything you need for cooking. There is a dishwasher. There is 1 step inside the apartment. We have 3 charming and newly renovated rooms with beds for 5 adults, as well as a crib and a weekend bed for children. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat and pets are welcome as long as they are under control and are not in bed. We'll share a toilet at night, but it's 100% yours.

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!
