Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, located in the southern region of Iceland. The beautiful Laugarás lagoon is only 5 minute walk from the house, the lagoon offers a wonderful spa, with saunas, great views and a restaurant. The location is great since many of the most popular sites are close by, like the golden circle, the south coast. The house is surrounded by trees and the garden is very sheltered from the wind, behind the house is a large garden with a patio and a hot tub.

We welcome you to our river house with great view to the White River (Hvítá). The house is very spacious for your large family or a group of friends. It is close to several tourist attractions; Gullfoss (25 km), Geysir (20 km), Skálholt (10 km) so you can easily use our place as your base and visit the area to come back in the afternoon and relax in our very spacious hot tub (10 persons) or light a fire in the fire place and look out to the peaceful river. The house (HG-00002635) is centrally located in southeast Iceland, close t the Golden Circle and to all major attractions and places of interest, beautiful nature all around. It is located in the small town Fludir, the last house on a small, dead end street, very peaceful. Great mountain view and good opportunity to see the northern lights in winter. Ideal for big families or groups. Outdoor swimming pools nearby, organic, fresh products from local farmers and grocery store in town.
