It is possible to use the garden and terraces as well as walking on the trails in the forest. There are bus connections to Viborg, free parking, playground and free wifi.

The apartment is located near the cathedral and a few minutes' walk to Viborg's pedestrian streets. The home contains a kitchen area with sofa bed and TV. Play one of our many board games or enjoy our cozy garden. The house is located in a small village, but close to a larger city, Kjellerup (4.3 km), with some shopping opportunities. The house is centrally located in Jutland, close to the beautiful towns of Viborg (20 km), Silkeborg (20 km), Aarhus (52 km), Billund (80 km).

House in the country - The Retro House

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Rural idyll at Dollerup Bakker

Slap af med hele familien i denne fredfyldte bolig. Huset er placeret på en fredelig grusvej ved det smukke Dollerup Bakker, et stenkast fra Hald Sø og Hærvejen. Huset har tre soveværelser med dobbeltsenge i to af dem samt en tredje seng på 140 cm, men der er plads til flere, skulle I have lyst til at låne luftmadrasser. Vågn op i Dollerup til lyden af fuglekvidder, og drik morgenkaffe mens de lokale rådyr tager for sig af havens nedfaldsæbler.

Newly built annex from 2024 in a quiet setting. Located 10 km from Herning and 12 min drive from Messe Center Herning. It is furnished with a double bed (140x200 cm), a table, two chairs, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Service is available. The annex is heated and has hot water.
