Il pianoro è situato nell'Appennino sannita, all'interno del Massiccio del Matese (1450 m), ed alle sue spalle si erge il monte Miletto (2050 m). L' amore per la natura, il panorama, il relax, l' aria pulita e l' acqua di sorgente rendono questo luogo indimenticabile ed incantevole per tutti. La stazione sciistica non è così "blasonata" come le "rivali" abruzzesi ma certamente più fruibile.
