Furuholmen was once one of Glomma's largest timber float facilities, with over 450 employees. Now you can rent "Formannshuset" and enjoy a weekend or a whole week in idyllic surroundings. Peace of mind and tranquility in the system are almost guaranteed. The house is about 140 sqm of living space and about 210 sqm if you count the basement. Here there are 8 beds, a large living room, a large terrace, a great kitchen and bathroom, parking outside the door and direct access to the water. Simple cabin by Glomma

Cabin with simple standard without electricity and running water. Hot water must be heated on a propane stove. Here we use a good old-fashioned outhouse and simple shower with hand pump. Two of the beds are only 70 x 180 cm. The cabin is located right on the waterfront of Glomma. Since it is very shallow, the water can sometimes come both closer and further from the cabin than in the pictures. There are many opportunities for hiking in forests and fields nearby. After booking, it is best to call if you have any questions or problems that need a quick response.

Easily accessible accommodation for short or longer periods. The apartment is located in a separate building with entrance from the ground floor and rooms vestibule/hallway, living room with kitchen, bathroom and sleeping loft. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and dishwasher. Equipped with dishes, cutlery and equipment for simple cooking. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower cabin and washing machine. Sleeping space on loft (120 cm), double sofa bed (140 cm) and sleeping chair (75 cm). WiFi 55" TV with Chromecast.

This is a cabin located in quiet surroundings with nature close by. Here you can relax and recharge. The view from the cabin is over Glomma, and is just to enjoy with a cup of coffee in the morning, or in the moonlight in the evening. There is a road all the way up to the cabin with parking for 2-3 cars. The cabin has no running water, but a water tap on the cabin wall. There is electricity, and possibilities for heating with wood. No power outlet for electric car. There is a combustion toilet and urinal. Approximately 15 minutes to various shops

Detached house in the countryside

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. The house is located in Skiftvet, but only a 5-minute drive from Askim city center. From Askim there are train connections to Oslo. About 45 minutes train time. We have two cats that thrive both inside and outside. Our house is well maintained and clean. We have four children ourselves, so the house is child-friendly. Glomma is a short walk away. Possible to borrow horses and a lot of nice outdoor opportunities in the area Cleaning is done by the tenant

Outdoor terrace with long table, lower terrace with two armchairs and fire pit. 10 min drive to Skiptvedt city center and 30 min to Askim. Hiking opportunities from the cabin, fishing and swimming opportunities nearby.

Holiday property with fantastic views of both Glomma and Mingevannet. The property is beautifully situated on a hill with a large sheltered natural plot, good sunlight and fantastic views. The terrace is a full 60 square meters with several beautiful areas such as a sunken hot tub, sauna tent, gazebo with a wonderful view, outdoor kitchen, lounge etc. Cabin have el-car charger. The cottage is located 1 hour from Oslo and is perfect for those who dream of a quiet life in idyllic surroundings!
