The villa can accommodate at least 8 people and is equally suitable for a family get-together, a group of friends, or a golfing weekend. With a full standard of accommodation – kitchen, bathroom and laundry room – you have everything you need, with nature right on your doorstep. Here, there is space for long dinners, quiet morning coffees and days spent at a leisurely pace.

We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of egg oil tempera adorn the walls and genuine linseed oil paint is a matter of course in a house from the late 19th century. Nice tiled stoves heat nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are great conditions for cross-country and downhill skiing at Romme Alpin. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with a connection approximately 100 metres from the farm. The house is located near the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Simple holiday home by Dalälven

Smaller, simpler vacation home, 1 floor + loft, located in Tyllsnäs, in the countryside but close to the city. About 5-10 minutes (4.5 km) from Borlänge city center. Approx. 10-15 minutes (11 km) from Romme Alpin. 1 bedroom on the lower floor, 2 140 cm beds 3 beds in the loft, 90 + 2 x 80 cm beds. Underfloor heating. Overlooking Dalälven. Parking for two cars. Allergy-friendly dogs are welcome. The cottage is located next to a private residential building where the hosts live. Cleaning is NOT included, the guests clean the cottage before departure. Cleaning supplies are available.

The house has all possible amenities: Large terrace in both south-facing and towards the evening sun. Locally, you can take a walk/run in Smäcken or Frostbrunnsdalen, explore the spring streams, take a ride on the river, or a dip, or visit the ostriches a bike ride away. There is a sauna and fireplace with access to wood for frozen ski enthusiasts.
