You have bakery and restaurant, popular Mærrapanna, and nice hiking areas with a viewpoint like Blåsopp and Onsøyknipen. Welcome!

The apartment is located in a scenic area with a short distance both to the city and the forest. It is a 3 min drive to grocery stores, bakery and pharmacy. (walking distance 15-20 min). Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

Walk down through the garden to the beach for a bath, kayak, play a round of boccia or hike along the coastal path. 10 min bike ride to Holmsbu with country shop, restaurants and shops. Beautiful sunsets all year round! Perfect for a couple or small family.

The house has a sea view from the windows and nice patios 5.5 km to the city center in Fredrikstad about 20 minutes with bicycle. There is also a ferry rental 800 meters from the house, with a free ferry that can take you to Kråkerøy, Sentrum and Old Town 3 times an hour. About 10 min walk from the house. Ålekilen

Short distance to the city center, 3 cafes in the immediate vicinity, grocery store on Kråkerøy or in the city center. Peaceful and nice area. Little traffic. Public parking in the street in marked places, for a fee 08:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, until 15:00 Saturday and free on public holidays.
