The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Good starting point for hiking, biking, as well as for visits to castles and palaces as well as sights. The S-Bahn station "Stadt Wehlen" is about 500 m away. From here you can reach the cultural city of Dresden in 30 minutes.

We offer a stay in a cozy traditional log house in peace and privacy. The house has lovely views and is located near forest and National Park. The living room has fireplace, kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. Two bedrooms are in the second floor. Heating is provided by the fireplace, electricity is for keeping the house warm. Unlimited WiFi with a speed of approximately 28 Mbps. The ceilings in the first floor are low, please be careful not to hit your head!
