Holiday rentals in Smethwick

Anu's Barn was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Its private location was ideal for a relaxing get-away and we enjoyed the hot tub in the garden, even when it was raining. We had our two medium-sized dogs with us and they had a lovely time walking in Pepper Wood and in the field at the back of the property which they could access themselves from the garden. Anu was very responsive. She and her husband attended to a few of our requests extremely promptly. We would also highly recommend The Gate (Tex Mex pub) which is withing walking distance for great, reasonably priced food. We would definitely consider staying again if we come back to the area.

WOW! What a stay. Such a beautiful lodge, in such beautiful surroundings and so quiet and peaceful. The inside of the lodge is stunning. The decor is beautiful and absolutely spotless. The bed is so comfy, bedding is amazing too! The lodge is equipped with everything you need as well as lovely complimentary bits and bobs. The little personal touches are lovely too. The bath and outdoor bath / hot tub are amazing, especially in the sun! Kate is a great host and so friendly and helpful. The check in was smooth, directions were perfect and we found the property with no problems at all. We had such a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks so much Kate. 🥰

We only stayed one night for a local event but from booking to leaving Katie was brilliant… very informative & responsive and the place was lovely and had everything we needed.

Perfect set up for a group get together. Plenty of space and having bedrooms with en suites was great. Comfy beds, lots of towels. We all had a great stay

What a great stay- myself and my bachelorette group stayed here for the weekend and it was beautiful. Very close to local shops and food. Easy to get an uber to the bars. And the host left the most beautiful flowers for our arrival. Very happy with our stay here.

Was a lovely peaceful get away nice clean fresh towels linen kitchen area was fresh and clean the whole pod was clean and fresh the hot tub and fire pit was lovely at night all the fairy lights lit up was a gorgeous idyllic little break in beautiful surroundings few nice local pubs around to eat we ate at the Mare & Colt food and service was spot on really enjoyed our stay at the squirrels nest would definitely return again and would recommend for others also the host was most helpful in regards to any issues or questions asked would promptly reply and was super helpful seemed like a nice guy who also should be really proud of the space he’s created for people to enjoy and have a nice peaceful break from the kids as we did great place

Will always use Stephen for stays. I’ve stayed in multiple of his properties now and this one was breathtaking. Will be staying here anytime I visit Birmingham
