The Monkey Bar Loft 202 pays homage to the food counter located at Harvey’s Department Store that existed at 506 Church Street from the 1940s to the 1980s. The food counter was called the Monkey Bar due to the fact that live monkeys were at the bar. We cannot make this stuff up! Every stay at 506 Lofts helps someone experiencing homelessness in Nashville through our Rooms for Rooms program!
