Composting wood toilet. The sauna is wood-heated. If necessary, we will guide you in heating the sauna. Available in summer and early autumn.

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only some steps to the water or ice. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights.

A cosy, compact and ecological mini home is located on the shore of a lake in a genuine and ordinary small village in Lapland. The mini home has everything you need, including a wood-fired sauna. We will help you heat the sauna if you wish, and there is Wi-Fi. The large windows offer a beautiful view of the lake and the northern sky. This mobile mini-home is also well suited for a longer stay, so the accommodation itself is an experience. The hot tub is not in use during the winter.

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

The nearest ski resort is Kommattivaara about 25 km, Luosto about 60 km, Saariselkä about 100 km. There are reindeer farms in the vicinity of the house that you can visit, but you need prior notice.
