Ideally suited to guests who like nature, the countryside and walking, there are no nightclubs. The West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway can be seen from the hut and is accesible. Kingfisher is located privately screened in our large garden surrounded by farmland and countryside. We welcome friendly guests

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

The Piggery is a tranquil, stand-alone wood-cabin in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Ideal for short breaks for those who want somewhere quiet and like to get out and about. Situated on our organic small-holding, it has a kingsize bed, ensuite, a TV, wifi and kitchennette facilities - kettle, microwave, fridge. We're 8 mins from the M5, with Taunton, Glastonbury, Street and Wells a few miles drive. Our village has a pub that serves excellent food and a convenience store 2 miles away.

Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. It is next door to a Domesday church, and the local pub is a five minute walk away. The property is about 1 mile from the Pontispool equine sports centre and 5 miles from Bishops Lydeard Station on the West Somerset Railway. Oake Manor golf club is about 1 mile away and Junction 26 of the M5 is roughly 3 miles.
