Shepherd's Hut with views of the Old Man of Storr

Escape to Skye in our cosy hut in the heart of the most exciting scenery in the world. 5 min walk to Kilt Rock and a patio with spectacular views of the mountains. 10 mins drive to the Storr or the Quiraing for walking and to Staffin Beach with dinosaur footprints. You won't forget this trip any time soon! The hut is well insulated for Winter, fully equipped and is decorated with photographs by the owner, a professional landscape photographer. The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.
