Welcome to this small log cabin with a great cozy factor on the outskirts of Långå. A mountain village between Vemdalen and Funäsdalen, known for noble fishing and magical nature. The place is surrounded by forests, mountains, lakes, waterfalls and the beautiful river Ljusnan that runs through the village. A natural environment where adventure opportunities abound. Bus to local destinations & Stockholm right by the road. 10 minutes to Hede (Ica, pharmacy, restaurants, health center, veterinarian, golf course, etc.) Dogs are on the farm next door, within a fenced area.

Cozy cottage of 72 sqm in Vemdalen village! Charging box is available for 3: - per KwH. Bring your own charging cable. Fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, bathroom with washing machine. Two bedrooms with a total of four beds and extra bed on the sofa. About 10 km to Björnrike and Vemdalsskalet. Close to the snowmobile trail. Please note that the cottage does not have Wi-Fi. However, there is a 4G router. Bring your own SIM card and share wi-fi with others. Guests bring their own bed linen and towels, and clean before departure. Welcome!

Sports cottage at Vemdalsskalet

Modern sports cottage with 6 beds of about 80 sqm with a lot of a lot! Built in 2014. Nice and quiet location overlooking the valley and ski area. Close to the center of the shell (1,5 km walkway). Welcome to a small and cozy cottage in Skärsjövålen. Here you will find peace and nature next to Sonfjället with nice hiking in summer and miles of snowmobile trails in winter. If you want to go downhill, you can easily get to Vemdalan (45 min), Lofsdalen (75 min) & Funäsdalen (60 min). On weekends in winter, you also have the slope in Hede with a lift that is suitable for beginners/family. Two streets from the cottage, you have the starting point for cross-country ski trails (lit). Nice fishing opportunities all year round.

Relax with the family in this peaceful space. Here you can hear the silence, enjoy the forest at the back after an active day or find peace in everyday life. With Sonfjället just around the corner and 30 minutes to Vemdalen and Björnrike, you can enjoy the cottage and the surroundings every day of the year. Beautiful Klövsjö is about 40 minutes away. You have a private sauna and barbecue area on the plot. Hede, the resort where the cottage is located in, has most of the amenities; supermarket, pharmacy, medical center, etc.

The cottage is located only 15 km from Sonfjället National Park, where you can enjoy fantastic nature, hiking and wilderness experiences. At Rörsjön, there is a rowboat to rent for those who want to fish or just take a quiet ride on the water (pre-booking is required). To the ski slopes in Vemdalsskalet and Björnrike, it takes about 20 minutes by car.

Scenic and idyllic location in a forest glade where you can hear the Ljusnan river rushing further away. 5-minute walk to one of Sweden's best trout fishing, a little further away, Rånden runs, one of Sweden's best trout waters. To the ski resorts Vemdalen, Björnrike and Lofsdalen, it takes just over 30 minutes by car to go. The area is also popular for snowmobiling. Here you live close to nature with access to a wide range of outdoor activities all year round.
