In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. Viken Fjellgård is located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, an hour's drive from Lillehammer. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, something hot to drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a snowshoe hike, ice fishing, burn a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, then this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes. The trails start right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the trip on the high mountain.

Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.
