Traditional cabin with views, electricity and water

Here you can start your mountain tour right outside the door, both in summer and winter. From the cabin it is 4 km to the car park at Spranget, and from there it is approx. 7 km to the DNT cabin Rondvassbu, the heart of Rondane. If you want to combine the mountain tour with a day of rafting in Sjoa, it is only a 30-minute drive from the cabin. The cabin can also be a base for those who like to fish in Lågen or in some of the many mountain waters in Rondane. From the "whiskey bench" or barbecue area at the cabin you have a lovely view of Jotunheimen to the west and Svinslåberget to the south. In the center of Otta you will find many grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The center of Otta is about a 20-minute drive from the cabin. Should you feel like being served a meal on the mountain, you can get it at Rondane Fjellstue, which is about 500 meters from the cabin. During the school holidays, there is also a small grocery store and a cafe in the center of Mysusæter 600 meters from the cabin. Opening times depend on the season, so check in advance if it is open, we recommend shopping at Otta. There is a road all the way through summer and winter. Parking is in a designated space 30 meters from the cabin. In winter, the road to the cabin is plowed on Fridays and Sundays, from 1 December until after Easter. It is also plowed during the Christmas holidays, New Year, winter holidays and Easter. If you arrive on a weekday and it has snowed since the last plowing, you can park for a fee in the car park at Mysusæter, and walk about 600 meters to the cabin. If the road is not open, transport by scooter can be ordered in advance from the Mysusæter service centre. The cabin has installed water, sewage and electricity. The cabin is partially heated all year round with heating cables in the bathroom and a panel oven in the living room. The cabin has a soapstone fireplace and a wood-burning stove, and we make sure it's wood available. In the main cabin, there are no separate bedrooms, but two sleeping alcoves. The alcoves are divided into a double bed alcove and in the other alcove there is a bunk bed. In addition, there is an annex with a family bunk with room for three. Bed linen/towels must be brought. Washing must be done by the guests. Smoking not allowed. Animals are most welcome, but not in the beds. There is running water in the bathroom, in the kitchen there is only a sink. From the parking lot, there is a small hill of about 20 meters to the cabin, manageable for everyone in normal condition, but if you have difficulty walking, you might need help. Guests must clean the cabin themselves, and there is a detailed description of how the cleaning should be done, so expect that this will take some time

This is a small farm on Sødorpfjellet, about 4-5 km east from Vinstra city center. No toll road. Running water, shower, toilet and electricity and charger for electric car. 3 bedrooms, 1 family bunk bed and 2 good double beds, cozy fireplace in the living room. There is a heat pump/AC, wifi TV channels. Cozy cabin, centrally located in relation to the mountain. Near Jotunheimen and Rondane. New small cabin (annex) in Gålå with great views

New, modern annex with panoramic views of Jotunheimen and Gålåvatnet. (30 sqm) Free parking Only a 5-minute drive to: Groceries (07:00–23:00), sports shop, Gålåvatnet, Gålå Alpin & Aktiv, Høyt & Lavt climbing park, Peer Gynt Arena (theatre), cafes, Peer Gynt stadium with roller ski slope and floodlit slope (artificial snow from the last weekend in November). As well as 230 (630) km of prepared cross-country ski trails. Cross-country ski in/out. Only 300 metres from the cabin, you enter the cross-country ski trail network. (From around mid-December)

Coolcation! Panoramic view - Rondane National Park

Enjoy wonderful days in the mountains with a fantastic view of Rondane to the north and Jotunheimen to the west. A perfect starting point for hikes all year round. Strap on your skis right outside the cabin wall, or get on your bike for miles of hiking opportunities. We also have a canoe for free use on the nearby Årvillingen. After the trip, you can relax in the lovely sauna. The cabin is spacious, well-maintained and contains everything you need for unforgettable days in one of Norway's most beautiful mountain areas in Rondane National Park.

Cabin at Gålå - Gudshaugen

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Viking farm, Sygard Listad. King Olav stayed 1021.

Welcome to the Viking farm Sygard Listad. Here you live on historic grounds. The Viking king Olav the Holy lived here in 1021, to prepare the battle against the king of Gudbrandsdalen. This happened during the Christianization of Norway. On the farm you will find the holy well "Olavskilden". Driving distance to Oslo is 250 km and the same to Trondheim. Here you can go skiing in Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, Jotunheimen National Park or Rondane. In summer you can see Peer Gynt, go on a musk ox safari or a day trip to Geiranger.

Cozy farmhouse

Simple and peaceful accommodation on a farm with a central location only 2 km from Otta city center. The house is located by itself on the farm in rural surroundings. Here you can relax and enjoy the sunset from both the porch and the sofa. The house has all the facilities and is suitable for couples. In the surrounding area you can find nice hiking options and several exciting activities. In Otta city center you will find, among other things, Amfi shopping center and the delicatessen Døkakjøtt.

Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.

This is an undeveloped, old mountain farm where you can really find peace and quiet and recharge your batteries. The farm has a large fenced area where both children and four-legged friends can roam freely.
