Holiday rentals in Sorell Council

This was without a doubt the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The place was clean, quiet, beautifully maintained and the host was proactive in communicating with me. I also loved the ease of check-in, and of course the views are stunning. my only regret is that I only booked for one night. Do yourself a favour and make this your next stay!

Our daughter and her family live in Tasmania, and were lending us a car, Steve allowed them to park the car on the property on the day of our arrival and to get inside to leave us some food and wine as we were arriving late. Because of awkward scheduling we travelled for 40 hours and arrived to find a home that was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped, this made us feel very welcome. Steve sent a welcome message a little while after we had arrived and checked that we had all we needed, the next morning, we had another message to check that we had slept well, again checking that we had all we needed. Steve couldn’t have been more attentive yet left us entirely to our own devices. When we next visit our daughter, we will certainly try to book here again. Most of our holidays are in self-catering and this is among the best of many. Great host, great place, everything we needed plus extras such as coffee pods, toiletries, even Easter eggs.

Phenomenal stay! We appreciated the more rural setting and saw wallabies and kookaburras at the back of the house. They keep the place very clean, so plan to take your shoes off on entry (we normally do this at home so it was easy to remember). Diego was really helpful communicating through the app and providing local recommendations. The portable baby cot and high chair were great for our young children. The place can get cold at night, but they have portable heaters in each room with a larger heater on the wall in the main area. It was well situated between Hobart (30 minutes), Richmond (20 minutes), the airport (20 minutes), and Port Arthur/Tasman National Park (an hour). It's only 5-10 minutes to gas and groceries and they have condiments, vinegar, and oil already. Our only request would be for a few more utensils and plates to wash dishes less often. Would definitely come back again if we get the chance!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! The views are incredible from every room, making you feel like you are on the edge of the world. The bathtub view was a favorite for us, although the view from the Sauna was right up there too! There are so many thoughtful additions for guests- spices in the pantry, books to read - and our kids especially liked the extra toys and games! Macy was such an incredibly responsive host - getting back to us within minutes. All to say- this was a wonderful stay on our trip around Tasmania and we will certainly be back!

We had a lovely few days away in Dunalley. The view was stunning and it was such a treat to be right on the water’s edge. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our host was extremely responsive and accommodating, even allowing us a late check out which we really appreciated. Our 4-year-old didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

Angela's place was a wonderful warm and welcoming place for our family to stay over Easter. The sunsets over the water and into the living room were divine! we really loved hanging in the living room and on the front deck watching the birds and boats and listening to the gentle waves. the kitchen was well-equipped for a large group and we enjoyed cooking there. The house had a lovely family feel with extra touches like linen doonas and throws and fresh flowers in vases. there are interesting walks and lookouts and good coffee near by!

A place is good, it has everything for a comfortable stay. Location is remote but with a car there is no issues to get wherever you want to. Margaret is very friendly, helpful and attentive. She is going an extra mile to make her guests happy. Thanks very much, Margaret, we appreciated a late check out.

Really lovely place to stay. We booked in order to visit van Bone but were blown away by the beautiful, peaceful setting, amazing wildlife ( in house echidna and kookaburra family). It was perfect. Also really well stocked house, great library and telescope.
