Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South Ayrshire

An absolutely brilliant stay! Emma couldn’t be more helpful and did everything to make us feel at home. The area has lovely walks and the yurt is so quirky and homely. Very friendly animals all around the property which was a great added extra. Would absolutely recommend and will hopefully be back!

My wife and I found The Wee Hoosie on Airbnb as we were attending a wedding reception at Killochan Castle. At the enquiry stage we found that this was the best location rather than staying in Girvan and furthermore Louise suggested a local taxi company to take us there and back. On arrival we found the house to be exceptionally clean and all set up for our arrival, we made good use of the cooking facilities which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the house (sorry, we use up lots of logs in the wood burners) and all the facilities of a hotel on preparation for the wedding. The Wee Hoosie is a perfect location set in roaming hills in Barr so perfect for walkers. Lovely place and will stay there in the future. Best wishes Alan

Emma and Colin at The Bungalow were so welcoming and friendly. The Easter decorations were such a lovely touch. Emma has thought of everything you could possibly need and the bungalow is spotless with beautiful decor and quality furnishings. Really enjoyed the bbq hut and hot tub, there is plenty for adults and children alike to enjoy. The location is so peaceful with fabulous restaurants nearby and the stunning Ayrshire coastline a ten minute drive offering so many places to go with families. You will have the best stay here and not want to leave!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property! The views and surrounding area were absolutely stunning—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a major highlight, especially in the evenings, and the house itself was equipped with everything our young family could need, which made our stay super comfortable and stress-free. The communal spaces were spacious and inviting with great tv and sofa area. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for families or groups looking for a cozy and scenic escape!

Lovely quiet location to kick back and relax in a hot tub under the stars would highly recommend if ur looking for an escape from it all and is ideally suited to explore what Dumfries and Galloway has to offer. We will defo stay here again.

We stayed in one of the pods for our 7 year anniversary, this was the perfect location to unwind and break free from city life! The pods are actually much larger than they look so plenty of space, the pods were immaculate. We had such an amazing night our only complaint is we didn’t book for another night! Your place will always be special to us as I arrived a girlfriend and left a fiancé. Thank you for a special peaceful well rested stay. We look forward to coming back again.

We stayed at the Kuppel doing a weekend getaway staying a new place away night. Christopher was amazingly helpful and kind. He helped making the coordination of the trip way easier and giving extra time for flexibility regarding both arrivel and check out which is both easily done. This place is an absolute treasure and great for anyone who wish to get some quiete time, lay and just watch the stars (saw a shooting star), or get into nature. The place is has great amenities, so if you are not usually into "camping" this is a grwt place to go.

We got such a warm welcome from Andrea and Frankie. Such amazing hosts! The cabin was so cozy, peaceful and relaxing. We had such an amazing time staying here. Super dog friendly too!

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, cosy and clean. Very communicative hosts and really straight forward process checking both in and out. Loads of utensils and amenities available to use which is not always guaranteed in a self catering stay! Thank you so much, it was lovely ⭐️
