“A gorgeous hideaway. This cabin is even better than it looks on Air Bnb, Jacqui and Dallas were great hosts making us feel welcome and were very friendly but also giving us time to enjoy the cabin and pool and relax alone. Their dog Beau was also very friendly. We saw kangaroos feeding in the field just behind the cabin, and lots of birds too. The cabin has an electric bbq and outside table. It was immaculately clean and we had a great stay in South West Rocks! Thanks Jacqui and Dallas!”

“Rhonda & Hector provided us with well written directions to the property which were accurate and easy to follow. Check-in was simple and convenient with a lock box. Upon entering the property we were impressed with the size of the home and the character of the decor. Even though the images looked great on Airbnb, we thought they didn’t do it justice. The place had been cleaned with Covid-19 in mind. All surfaces had been cleaned with antibacterial solution, including light switches etc. We were able to choose our own bedroom (in the past because we are only two guests, often the host has selected our bedroom for us and ‘locked off’ the other rooms). There are lovely big windows and balconies on each side of the property. Multiple places to sit and relax. A kitchen with everything you might need including some breakfast items and a pod coffee machine. We felt very welcome in their home. We only had one problem and we wouldn’t even mention it in this review, except for the fact it illustrates how terrific the hosts are. Unexpectedly the fridge stopped working and after trying to solve the problem ourselves, we contacted Rhonda & Hector to see if they could offer some advice. They were extremely apologetic and organised for a replacement fridge to arrive within an hour or so. We look forward to returning to the property and we offer fellow travellers this advice... if you are lucky enough to find the house free for your dates, book without hesitation. Thank you Rhonda & Hector!”
The area is a self-contained granny flat, the downstairs area of my house. The living area has a small kitchenette and 2 single beds/day beds. A pull out mattress can sleep a fifth guest. The other room has a queen bed. You also have a private bathroom, and use of the adjoining laundry and garden. The garden has lovely views of Smoky Cape, South West Rocks and the ocean. Kangaroos and birds are frequent visitors. Checkin is strictly 8pm latest.
“Nice apartment, Victoria was very lovely and communicative, gave us great advice and a very warm welcome. Great location to visit beaches and see Arakoon national park, and we strongly suggest to visit Hat Head!”
