Peace in the countryside in Somerniemi

In the courtyard of the farm, a granny cottage with amenities. From the cottage terrace, you can watch the horses and hear the donkeys greetings. In the summer, you can see the horse pastures from the clearing. The terrace has a new gas grill and furniture. There are also cats, dogs, sheep and a mini pig on the farm. You can get to know the animals with the help of the farm's staff. Near the cottage, there is a pond, not suitable for swimming (hummus water), a small yacht and a canoe available for guests. The pond is visible from the cottage's terrace. You can walk to the pond and see the scenery.

The lake and the adjacent rapids area are popular with fishermen. The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7km.

Is there a hot climate in the southern Europe right now and still getting worse when the summer season goes ahead? Why wouldn't you make an alternative holiday trip to Finland? We don't have ice bears on the streets, not at all. What we have is a fresh, green and humid nature. The temperature approx. +20 and a bit cooler nights. Cottage on a private island

Cozy cabin on a private island by a sea bay. Enjoy stunning views from the deck and peaceful surroundings. Guests have access to a rowing boat, canoe, SUP-board, grill, and sauna. The cabin has a small kitchen, electricity, and an outdoor toilet. Sleeps max. 4 adults and 2 kids. No running water, but it can be carried from the mainland, and hosts bring the first batch for drinking and washing. The sauna has a rechargeable showerhead for rinses. A perfect spot for a simple, relaxing getaway.

In the traditional sauna you can get hot steam and you can dive into the pure-water lake directly from the stairs. Due to the space, the cottage is most suitable for a couple and one child.

Mökki sijaitsee Nuuksion kansallispuistossa kauniilla mäntyjä kasvavalla rinteellä, puhdasvetisen Ruuhilammen rannalla. Vihdin Gofkentälle ja Puuhaparkkiin on matkaa 11 km. Hirsinen päämökki on rakennettu 1950-luvulla. Uudempi pienempi hirsimökki on rakennettu 2012. Tunnelmaltaan molemmat ovat nostalgiset. Rannalla sijaitsee vuonna 1958 valmistunut puulämmitteinen, Reima Pietilän suunnittelema sauna.
