Farmstay holiday rentals in Southern Highlands

My family loved to stay at this place. It was like a dream, cooking with a view, walking around and see kangaroos, they were great hosts, more than expected, they had too many complementary food for us to enjoy. It is definitely a 5 stars 🌟 stay.

We had a great and relaxing Easter as we had intended. The property is beautiful, the house was very comfortable, the wildlife and horses were incredible and the silence at night was perfect! I highly recommend David’s place!

The cottage and its gardens were beautiful. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend to others. Glenn was very helpful, and the muffins were a lovely touch.

We had the best weekend at Wombiombi Cottage! The cottage is immaculately clean and so peaceful. We loved sitting on the verandah listening to the birds, with a glass of wine and watching our dog run around the back paddock and enjoy the space. Fran was so friendly and responsive, and welcomed us with homemade cupcakes. We also had one of Fran’s home made dinners which was delicious. The location is fantastic, secluded yet just a 10 min drive to Bowral and Berrima. We already can’t wait to go back, our new favourite place! Thank you for a great weekend Fran! The kitchen and lounge room were spacious, the carpets looked new. The bed was comfy, aircon and shower all worked well. I cannot fault anything about the place!

Liz and Denis were extremely accommodating hosts. Their cottage was in a peaceful location which is perfect for what we were looking for. Everything was clean and tidy as one would expect, and the hosts not only were proactive with their communication but also provided a caring and homely touch. Would definitely recommend!

It was lovely to stay on Margot’s farm, we also got to feed the sheep which was an absolute bonus! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a private stay close to everyone to explore in the Southern Highlands.

The house was cosy and the bedrooms are reasonable good sizes. The kitchen had everything if you need to cook. The scenery is beautiful. I will stay there again.

Quite possibly our favourite Airbnb location. Natalie’s cottage is a slice of heaven. From the incredible landscape to the fine touches of leaving a bottle of wine, ice creams in the freezer, and Easter eggs on our pillows, there was nothing Natalie didn’t think of. A bonus for us was being able to bring our precious fur babies to enjoy the beauty of this property and location. Thanks so much for having us and we cannot wait to return.

Ms Brigid was very kind lady who prepared the fireplace before we came very late in the cold dark night. We all felt an overwhelming sense of warmth, really made us feel home after a tiring traveling trip. The house has two bathrooms, which exceeded our expectations. We fed the horse and alpacas the next morning, and the dog Misty was friendly and very interactive. She likes to give you a stick and invite you play with her. I would definitely recommend this to our friends.

Our stay was just what we needed. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and wonderful respite from life. Our first stay in a tiny house, it was comfortable and beautiful touches, from the hammock and the bath to our local cows we made friends with. Close to the beach and some beautiful country towns, but just sitting watching the countryside was our favourite.

Thank you Tim for a peaceful and serene house! Our family really enjoyed our stay! Everything was as described and our girls had a lovley time with the farm animals ! The Jacuzzi, fireplace and view were truly amazing!

Lovely stay, outdoor bath in the rain is incredible, close to beach and shops but tucked away as if it’s away from society. Amanda was great in reaching out to see if we needed anything during our stay. Will be back a 3rd time next year 😊

The Outpost cabin was beautiful. The location on the winery was perfect and the little touches inside the cabin made us feel right at home. Only a 2min walk from the cellar door which had some delicious wines to taste. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful farm stay, great for families with children. Mark was kind enough to show the kids around the farm in the Polaris and feed the animals which was a highlight!

Such a treat to stay on this beautiful property. The cottage is cosy, clean, robust and comfy. Alyson is a great host. Our kids loved walking up to see the horses and spotting kangaroos at dusk. Lots of great activities close by too. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot for a getaway in the southern Highlands. Modern, spacious with lots of animals and wildlife.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s property to celebrate my father-in-law’s 70th birthday. The house was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Communication was easy and friendly throughout, and the check-in/check-out instructions were clear. It’s a perfect spot for a special occasion or a peaceful getaway. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again — highly recommend!

We’re return visitors and love it every time. The cottage is cosy, clean, well equipped and has beautiful views. The large covered deck is a great space. The large fenced yard is great for dogs. The large bath is great for the humans. Gail is an excellent host. She’s friendly, responds quickly and gives updates before and during the stay without being intrusive We’ll be back again!

We felt so at home during the two-day stay, it was incredibly comfortable. The indoor fireplace kept everything so warm and cozy. The homemade caramel slice was delicious! It’s a shame I forgot to bring candles, but I guess that just gives me another reason to visit again. Thank you so much for everything :)

This is a gorgeous property with all the amenities you want for a cosy and relaxing time in the country. Lots of space and areas to enjoy the beautiful view, very clean, and perfect for furry friends. Maree and George were gracious hosts - thank you so much!

What an enchanting experience we had staying at Zoe's Watershed Barn in Roberston. It was just beautiful, with an open fire outside under which to look at the stars - of which there are so many in the night country skies! The accommodation has everything you need for a cosy night in and the kitchen was great and easy to work in. Zoe kindly provided some fresh eggs, bread and milk, which was very thoughtful. The loft bedroom under bud lights was magic at the end of the day and was so comfortable and peaceful. We loved the windows in the ceiling. Close to the village of Robertson which has wonderful restaurants/cafes like Moonacres and Roberston pub as well as Bowral with its diverse array of retail shopping. Spoilt for choice with wineries all around and not to miss the nature walk offered at the Illawarra Fly. We wanted to stay longer and will be back! Thank you so much Zoe! Best, Tash
