Our cottage

Our cottage is a place for anyone who likes to recharge their batteries in nature - whether as a couple or in the peaceful company of friends and family. You'll find it in an oak and pine forest near Borovany in South Bohemia, in beautiful natural surroundings not far from the Novohradské Mountains. Although it might not look like it at first glance, there are neighbours in the area, but they can't be seen from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the deck. There is no wifi in the cabin, so enjoy your time really together.

Shepherds hut on pasture

Staying in our caravan is an adventure, healing refreshment and a holiday with an amazing sunset. The caravan is on a fenced property in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area. It is located in the undeveloped part of the village, near our house, there are pastures all around, so no sprayed fields. A herd of cows and sheep in the pastures and a beautiful view of the Šumava mountains in front of you. Drinking water available. Firewood is included. This caravan is our wooden heart, which we have reconstructed ourselves. It's just a different, amazing view of the world.

Enjoy your stay in a small modern house with a breathtaking view of the rocky valley of the Vltava River, located in a forest on a rock, directly above St. Kilian's Island, where one of the first male monasteries in the Czech lands was founded in 999. You can go on many trips in the surrounding area - Vyhlídka Máj, Pikovická jehla, the Slapy reservoir or just a simple walk in the local forest.

The cottage is located 100m from the pond with the possibility of swimming, offers an outdoor fireplace with a smokehouse, beautiful walks in the woods and in season abundant for mushroom picking. There are very well marked hiking and biking trails in the area.

In our guest house, you will be welcomed by a pleasant cozy atmosphere with a scent of newness. It is a short walk from us to the train station in the direction of Pilsen and Prague, but at the same time our house is in a quiet neighborhood full of greenery. Rokycany is also located right at the entrance to the D5 highway, which will take you to Prague in about 50 minutes and to Pilsen in 15 minutes. You can sleep on one double bed and one sofa bed. A baby travel cot is also available.

The cottage accommodates 10 (up to 14) guests and is located in the peaceful village of Zhořec near Bezdružice, offering a perfect place to relax and spend time with family or friends.
