Really nice apartment in a beautiful location right on the river. So peaceful in the morning. Very easy to find and get into. Exactly as described. Coffee pot with coffee bags, sugar and creamer including microwave popcorn and chocolate biscuits. Nice welcome pack. Lots of cutlery crockery and pans but didn’t see any oil or condiments. If you are going to cook you’d need to bring some. Had problems with the tv instructions but after contacting Ashley somebody came to the condo within 15 mins and sorted out for us. May need to update instructions or check settings haven’t been touched to save inconvenience. Just to note the smaller bedroom has the boiler in it which is very noisy. We had ear plugs so was ok for us but if you come in the cold weather and need heating you would need to bear in mind. Overall a lovely stay in a quiet area of town within a short walk to all amenities. Would recommend.

This house is absolutely beautiful. It is decorated very tastefully and had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and the ability to see all of the stars without extra ambient light sources. The smores fixings that were provided was a very nice touch. We loved the quiet location, but some might find the distance from the nearest town (about 15 minutes) a slight negative. We personally loved driving through the beautiful countryside, seeing the Amish with their horse drawn buggies and just planned our activities appropriately so we were able to get the supplies we needed when we were near a town. If you're looking for location in the middle of everything with being close to the water. this the place for you. You can go calm walk in the morning and head to jacuzzi in the evening. It has nice bathroom and great bedroom. it was pleasant cooking to save money. It is great for couples who likes to feel welcomed.

We so enjoyed our stay at Mike and Sheila’s beautifully renovated mill house! They were perfect hosts, friendly and fun to chat with, the place was tidy and fun with good lighting, great books, and lovely scones provided for breakfast. We loved the setting in the peaceful valley with a spring-fed pond and trails up the wooded hills. We look forward to coming back!

The Driftless Escape! Modern, large cabin/57 acres

My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!
