Mangala, a super host with a heart of gold! After three weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka we returned to Mangala's for our last two nights. It felt as though we had come home. She made us so welcome and sat and listened to all our news. Mangala arranged and joined us for a tour of Colombo and helped us get the best price for some last minute shopping. She arranged our airport drop off and the driver she had arranged on our arrival that collected us from Kandy and stayed with us for four days was excellent. All drivers, highly recommended, were from nklanka tours and holiday. Mangala's bungalow has a homely feel, warm colours and a tranquil garden with so many beautiful, colourful birds that fill the air with delightful tropical bird song. Her garden is so very natural and full of wonderful things to eat. Thank you, Mangala, for making our stay so very special.

Very nicely located above the Black Railway Bridge. Quiet, and views very enjoyable, also in the night and early morning. Very helpful host, who supported any request, instantly. They supplied kitchen stuff for us, nice host family. Helped to find a good scooter for us. Yes, we do recommend !

Our stay at the Nest Residence,m was absolutely wonderful! The property was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests feel at home. The attention to detail in the amenities provided made our experience stress-free and enjoyable. The location was convenient, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to key attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend the Nest Residence to anyone and We’ll definitely be back in the future!

This was a very last minute booking and Dahami and his family made us feel very welcome right from the start. The accomodation was exactly as shown in the photos if not better. You have the whole top floor which has 2 spacious double rooms both en suite, a living area, a balcony and a fridge! Everything was very clean and tidy. The location is about 100m from the main road and a 10 minute walk to the far eastern side of Weligama beach (this end is much quieter than the main section of Weligama beach which is about another 20 minute pleasant beach walk) Dahami made us a lovely breakfast for an additional charge. We wanted to stay an extra night but he was already booked so he arranged for us to stay with his neighbour, a perfect solution. We would happily stay again and highly recommend

We have stayed in many Airbnb apartments in many different countries, this is probably one of the best. This is due to the apartment, its location, and Nikila & Dumindra. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment to cook meals, the sitting area is a good space to relax (and even has a TV with satellite film channels) and the balcony, where we spent time relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The hospitality of Dumindra and Nikila is first class, always helpful with advice of the local area, the breakfast every morning on the balcony was thoroughly enjoyable and the three evening meals were the best Sri Lankan food we have sampled. We could have quite easily have stayed for more than the seven nights.

This place was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 loved it so much. So many different places to take pics. It was extremely tranquil and relaxing. Even better in person. The staff was so accommodating & easy to reach they had on site staff who was near if I needed anything I could call him. If you are interested they have a chef available to cook. I felt really safe & was able to arrange tours if necessary stores / restaurants not far from the villa. When I come back to Sri Lanka this place will be my first stop.

Pepper Villa is literally everything you dream about when you want to escape the crazy world. Imagine waking up surrounded by vibrant green pepper plantations, with those incredible Haputale mountains just... wow! The natural pool? Absolute game-changer. We spent hours just soaking in the views and cooling off after our adventures. The location is seriously perfect - we were close to Diyaluma Falls and the hosts? They're basically travel heroes. They didn't just give us a place to stay; they gave us an experience. Always ready with local tips, helping us navigate around, making sure we didn't miss anything amazing. If you're the type who loves genuine experiences, wants to disconnect from the world but connect with nature, this is YOUR place. Trust me, you'll thank me later! 🌿🏔️ Pro tip: Bring a good camera. You'll want to capture every single moment.
